Review 8：Great, little hotel but we were put in Room 105 at the front of the hotel. The road noise from the motorway and road was horrific!! We complained and was informed the hotel was full but they would move us the next day. However, it was different staff on the next day and we were told we could not be moved until the following day. We were so disappointed as we had no sleep the previous night!! We were moved on the third day and had a great nights sleep such a shame we had to have two sleepless nights out of three nights booked in the hotel. We would not return to this hotel.

Review 16：The only good thing was the location, the room was small and the bedding, very cheap quality. Much better places to stay in La Cala, and much better prices. Breakfast was toast and coffee. Never again.

Review 34：The breakfasts were very basic and offered only carbo options (continental) besides a small glass of freshly squeezed orange juice. I took my own cereal, fruit and yogurt down with me. A more varied menu during the day including a small selection of healthy salads would draw more people to this lovely cafe/restaurant for light meals options during the day and evening.

Review 57：Excellent location very efficient friendly and knowledgeable staff who were very helpful in all of my commnunications prior and during my stay. The location close to the town and main road is also very good and the bed and room were very comfortable and noise-free. I was staying there for business which required me travelling up and down the A7 and this is ideally located for that. I will definitely return there probably for a leisure trip as it s a few minutes walk from the lovely beach .

Review 63：Having arrived( as we had warned the hotel on booking) at 1.30am after an exuasting journey, there was no refreshments of any kind available, not even à bottle of water in the room or a packet of biscuits. For this lack of human consideration I give them a 0 for hospitality.

Review 66：There was no safe in the room, but they put your valuables in the main safe at no charge. There was no hairdrier in the room, but they gave you one on request. The room didn't have a balcony as such but doors to a two foot wide balconet?

Review 67：The Carmen has only been opened just over a year, and they have certainly kept up great standards, the room although was not massive it was ok,you had a TV on the wall & a fridge under the table / bench, the bathroom was great, the shower was very powerful and easy to use, instant hot water any time day or night. the best thing about staying ther was the staff, they were so nice, friendly & helpfull, breakfast was just toast & jam/marmalade or toast with olive oil & tomato, OJ, coffee & cake, excellent for us, you had a menu if you wanted to buy a cooked breakfast, they sold snacks as well, good value for money. As for it being a two star hotel it is well deserved, would recomend it to anyone. We had a great stay there, thanks to Rafa and all her staff.
