Review 1：Needs little renovation in few places, but this is not too disturbing.

Review 2：Staff was friendly and helpful as we arrived late in the evening and had a lot of small requests upon arrival. Beds are good. The rooms are clean. Parking was convenient and free.

Review 3：We're usually easy going, but I feel compelled to make a note here this time. I hope something positive can come out of comments.Room:Shower had a small swinging panel that didn't prevent water from splashing outside of tub. Floor got wet EVERY time after shower. Troublesome because we had to use bath towels to soak up the water. We are eco-friendly and would've liked to reuse our towels to save water, energy, & the environment.When we arrived, there was no cup or coffee/tea or sugar or milk---or kettle--as advertised. I went downstairs to front desk to request for items and had to carry them (cups, saucers, spoons, coffee & tea, sugar & sweetener & the electric kettle) upstairs on a slippery tray myself. Strangely, staff did NOT offer to bring them up. When I tried the kettle, it didn't work because the kettle & charging base weren't even of the same brand--therefore, didn't fit. So I had to go back downstairs (we'd just checked in!) for a replacement. They couldn't find one at the storage & offered to bring one from another room. This time they delivered to the room.Wish we had 2 bottles of water instead of only 1 comp; they were small bottles.The in-room safe wasn't in the room. We had to ask for one, & subsequently offered to put our personal belongings in hotel safe. With some persistence, staff eventually brought us one from another room.We booked a 4-day stay---and NOBODY made our room during the ENTIRE stay.We were given a small discount for day-1 and complimentary breakfasts for another day. I can understand if they miss a day of cleaning; but NOT every day! If they had been short of staff, they might want to inform us or offer to change the towels. I've had to ask for fresh towels EVERY day. And since we had no house-keeping service in the room, we've also had to pick up coffee/tea & sugar & creamer--& wash the dishes without detergent every day!

Review 4：Walking distance to "town" shops. Parking, gated after midnight. Away from major street noise. Clean room and bathroom. Good size beds & sleep. Low noise air-conditioner. Nice thick bath towels. Hair-dryer. In-room Coffee/Tea with electric kettle. Complimentary bottled water. Staff were mostly polite and friendly (e.g. Dominique & Ines). Thank you.

Review 54：This appears to be a family run hotel with all staff very courteous & anxious to please. The best rooms are those with a terrace which are newly completed and spacious. The dining room was very airy and bright and breakfast & dinner were good.

I think visitors should have been offeredsome goodwill jesture for this (free meal or something like that), sinceI had to work in my room for one of the days that I was there - and theconstant banging drove me crazy :(On my last day there, someone close to my room was smoking and the smell was AWFUL - and that puts me off visiting on any regular basis. The lift was also broken - not too good for anyone who's suffering from Osteoarthrits, since the stairs are steep and not easily navigable. Air conditioning not up to the job when the weather is very warm (which it was for my visit)

Breakfast has improved a great deal since my last visit, but thecoffee/hot water dispenser could do with clearer labelling.Beds/matress/pillow very comfortable. Access to a bath is also verywelcome after a long day's work.
