Carnac Thalasso & Spa Resort sells fast on our site. Situated near the salt marshes, Thalasso & Spa Resort hôtel is set in a 28-hectare nature reserve, located 1,950 feet from the beach in Carnac-Plage. It offers free access to a heated, sea-water spa, swimming pool, sauna and hammam.
Rooms here are equipped with free Wi-Fi access, a flat-screen TV with Canal+ channels and facilities for making hot drinks. Each has a private bathroom with hairdryer and free toiletries. Some rooms also feature a balcony, while others have a south-facing balcony or views of the garden, sea or salt marshes.

Review 1：It would have been nice if the pools were larger. It was not very busy but the spa pools were still overcrowded. If it was during the height of the season, then it would have been unbearable.

Review 2：Wonderful location and nice spa facilities. My husband and I enjoyed lovely massages and a seaweed wrap that was a bit minimal, but still enjoyable. We were very glad it wasn't a very busy time of year. The town of Carnac is absolutely lovely and worth a visit.

Review 5：Whilst the food was delicious, We would have liked to have seen a wider variety on the menu. Also on the list of facilities it stated packed lunch, we were checking out early and therefore missing breakfast when I enquires if it would be possible to have a 'packed breakfast' we were told sorry no, which was disappointing having already paid for breakfast.

Review 7：Too many clients , restaurant always full ...even at 9pm we had to wait outside the dining room 20 to 30 minutes then to wait before ordering the meal ....and more ten minutes to eat ! Shortage of staff not of available seats and tables .. The sare case for breakfast , it is the way they manage the hotel to reduce cost .. The spa ! Even kids are allowed to use the premises .so it was full too, and very noisy !!

Review 9：Rooms with parking lot view are a bit noisy because of the ventilation system of the kitchen downstairs. This is a minor thing compared to all the pluses.

Review 11：Our original room was dated and very hot, the weather was extremely hot which probably made the room especially hot, we asked for a fan the first night but it didn't help. We finally moved to an air-conditioned room for the next two nights which was much better.

Review 13：3 Star rooms are very small and a bit tired.They clearly need upgrading.Trying to find the car park for the 3 star side of the hotel was problematic and we ended up on the 4 star side having to be taken round to the 3 star.Certainly impossible to find without directions.We could also easily hear our neighbours talking in an adjacent flat at 3 in the morning!!!No plans of the complex available in the room or at reception which given the size of the place was not good.Food in hotel esp breakfast is too expensive

Review 15：This is totally not what you would expect from the web site. Do not be fooled. Rooms are tiny, unclean and old. View of the lake means a tiny window. Spa means a tiny pool which would have been great if the size was x2, the number of people squeezed in was divided by two and the average age was half. Very expensive breakfast. Unfriendly staff. Bad smell of chlorine in rooms and hotel. We had been to 7 places during our trip to Brittany and Normandy and this was the worst and the most expensive.

Review 21：The two morning staff were rule followers who initially refused to allow us access to the laundry that had been promised by the helpful afternoon staff. We were travelling with a baby and this became a big problem. It took a lot of insistence to get access to the laundry to wash our own clothes. An unnecessary distraction from an otherwise excellent stay.

Review 50：We found it very disappointing. room space was small and in the family room the double bed for adults was upstairs. this had the coffee machine and yet the water was on the floor below for filling machine. no cups on arrival day and were told we would have to wait till the next day when the maid came to get some. therefore no drinks in room on the first day. decor needed update. old chip paper on walls and badly needing painting. toilet quite smelly and shower small and outdated. mould to shower curtain. didnt look like on the website. no mirror upstairs in adult room. says on website that there is a tennis court but this is actually a separate business although nearby. hotel said we could use if had rackets however we were asked to come off the courts as they were booked as you needed to reserve with the club and also pay 18 euros to play- NOT FREE! there is one pool where there is spa area and not outside one as implies. you cant get towels at spa area as you have to use the ones from your room. We booked this hotel after having 7 days in Quiberon at a hotel that was half the price but much much better.. the feeling of a bit of luxury was just not there at carnac. it truly was not worth the money!!
