Reviews for Cal Marrufès

Review 1:No one to assist us on arrival with General queries regarding parking etc.

Review 2:Interesting and well converted old farm house in ancient hill top village. Our spotlessly clean and warm room, en suite bathroom on the first floor (no lift) with courtyard view was comfortable. No one to meet / greet us, however a welcome note with room keys left on reception counter indicated that nights room allocations for ourselves and other guests arriving simultaneously meant we felt a bit like being a competitor in The Great Race. Very good breakfast, with plenty of choices.

Review 3:A amazing converted farm with a picturesque courtyard. Good breakfast in the morning. The B&B has its own lock up car park a minute away. The village is small and does lack having a bar or restaurant, but the town of Puigcerda with an abundance of both is only 5 minutes drive away

Review 4:No English spoken (although didn't cause too many issues). Credit Cards weren't accepted for final payment, despite booking.com stating MasterCard / Visa could be used.

Review 5:Quiet location. Secure parking. Warm room. Good walks from the B&B. Bath / Jacuzzi great after a long walk.

Review 6:It is a bit far from main town, so not too much to do. Will need to drive to larger cities for dinner if you don't eat at the property. But the nearby towns were stunning so happily made the drive around the place.

Review 7:This place was very beautiful. The rural property is maintained to a very high level, and the town is stunning with the stone walls and rural setting. The breakfast was also very nice with nice meats, fruits, coffee and even red wine! Very enjoyable and relaxing.

Review 8:The parking is hard to find. A notice in the area where the key is left explaining how to access the parking would be helpful if the owner is not around when you arrive.

Review 9:The room and breakfast were great.

Review 10:No windows in the studio, only sky lights in the ceiling. The lowest one however allowed you to see the very tops of the distant hills. The village was charming and the surrounding farms were widespreading, pity we couldn't see them from inside. Parking was around the corner and down the road, not that far, but because it was raining it was an uncomfortable sprint.

Review 11:Good studio flat. Good clean facilities. Great dining room with good breakfast. Friendly proprietor. Small village in the middle of nowhere, which is why we chose it. We would consider staying again but only if we get a different unit with windows and not quite so many stairs.

Review 12:Wifi connection not very strong, it was coming and going

Review 13:beautiful surrounding and very friendly owner, the breakfast also included local products and was really well prepared

Review 14:Unfortunately the bells of the church next door kept us awake. They not only chimed every hour but every half and quarter hour!

Review 15:Beautiful decor. Friendly staff wonderful breakfast

Review 16:Great old barn in a nice old village in the countryside very close to Puigcerda. Great owner

Review 17:Beautiful location exuding charm. Good breakfast.

Review 18:. Very comfirtable. Exellent atmosfir. A romantic Farm house

Review 19:much needed coffee/tea facilities in the room or common areas

Review 20:beautiful place, comfy, great breakfast

Review 21:The room was small, but perfectly adequate for our overnight stay.

Review 22:It was incredibly quiet, being right out of the town.

Review 23:Nothing

Review 24:Breakfast was good, the owner was very nice and the hospitality was excellent. The place was very clean

Review 25:No staff Poor WIFi

Review 26:Beautiful

Review 27:Quiet Village B&B Clean rooms Caring staff Wonderful breakfast

Review 28:By far the best place we've ever stopped in. A superb stopover but would also make a great holiday break stop

Review 29:The place has no elevator so that carrying suitcases to the 3rd floor is no fun.

Review 30:It is a nice place when the weather is not hot. Good breakfast.

Review 31:Without a car would be very hard to get to

Review 32:Old village and farmhouse, excellent breakfast, close to bigger town if you have a car

Review 33:As breakfast starts relatively late, it would be nice to have a kettle to make coffee if you are planning to leave early. Credit cards are not accepted even though this facility was advertised on the booking.com website. No staff available at all on site. Nowhere to eat nearby.

Review 34:The location is beautiful and peaceful, the house itself is impeccable as was the room and its facilities. Although never present, a note with a phone number was left for me at least.

Review 35:No staff whatsoever around. You can hear loudly your upstairsneighbours. The shower didn´t have a curtain so everything got wet inthe bathroom every time we showered. There is no wifi, they don´t acceptcard payments which makes you wonder if they pay their taxes properlyand overall we found it a bit overrated for what it is.

Review 36:Very clean room with a great view. Good breakfast which includedcereals, coffees, croissants, toasted bread and a range of cold meats.hotel is located in a tiny village 2.5km from Puigcerdà and right next to the French boarder. It was a very pleasant stay as my partner and me were looking for a quiet New Year's Eve.

Review 37:authentic rural location of a high standard.

Review 38:The house and atmosphere.

Review 39:No staff to welcome visitors. No look on room door.

Review 40:Place renovation style Yard country style

Review 41:Beautiful Location

Review 42:Breakfast was excellent!
