Crown Resorts is a complex of 5 sites, all within a just over 1 mile radius in Calahonda and Riviera del Sol, linked by a free shuttle bus. The complex features a spa, pools and sports facilities.
The minibus service also takes guests to the local shops and the beach, which is just over 1 mile away.
Sports facilities include a gym, tennis and racquetball courts. You can play volleyball and mini golf. The spa includes a sauna, heated indoor pool and whirlpool. Massage and beauty treatments are available.
The resort also offers large outdoor pools. There are children’s playgrounds, pools and mini clubs. An entertainment program is provided.
The complex has 4 poolside bars, open from June to September. There are 2 on-site restaurants, open 7 days a week.
The bright apartments have a fan and a balcony. The living room has a sofa bed, satellite TV, CD and DVD player. There is a hairdryer in the bathroom, and a well-equipped kitchenette with a washing machine.

Review 1：From check in to check out all the staff at this accommodation were incredibly friendly & helpful. The indoor swimming pool & facilities were perfect. An added bónus...the heated outdoor pool & a very sunny day in January, absolutely wonderful.

Review 4：The most disappointing is the beds - you literally feel every spring in the mattress with your back. Some days noisy working in/at the hotel starts around 9-10 in the morning, so do not lot upon to sleep later. Many nights though neighbours had loudly companies (Italian and Spanish) till midnight and sometimes later. Pool too small with ridiculously low depth.

Review 5：Clean, quite cozy and warm apartment (for the price) with excellent kitchen equipment and sufficient hot water supply (unlike many others aparthotels). Useful ceiling fans in every room. Very handy bus to/from the beach (alas, doesn't operate on weekends, and last pick-up at 17.45 - too early).

Review 6：There were rules that management didnt stick too, like no kids in the gym. Young children were allowed to swim without nappies, the pool area was slippery and the indoor pool was often not supervised.

Review 8：Over zealous unnecessary life guards considering it is a small shallow pool being used by children and their present parents not necessary. They would be best served in the restaurant where the excellent staff are stretched Steep incline and steps everywhere

Review 10：the hotel is called a resort but it is not. It is mostly small apartments with too small kitchen, with no view. and it is too expensive compared to what you get for the money. the pool area is too small compared to the number of people that are there. It is a very noisy place.

Review 11：Be warned - I was told by reception that guests are expected to wash the towels provided by the resort in the washing machine provided if guests wish to have clean towels or pay .€20 for clean ones. The resort provides clean towels and bed sheets after 4 days stay which is not enough in 36' heat through the summer. There is an option to pay for additional cleaning but no mention of the charge for clean towels in the welcome pack ! Some of the staff are extremely polite and helpful but I found the duty manager to be quite rude and dismissive. His response to my request for towels was 'this is not a hotel!'

Review 12：Love Calahonda. Easy access to Marbella and fuengirola. Quiet area, safe for young teenagers, Nice restaurants and friendly bars.

Review 14：Staff excellent for English speaking guests! Staff was wonderful with the children. Life Guard service was so vigilant over the pool it was like having a constant extra set of eyes on the children.

Review 15：One of the bathrooms had a persistent small leak near the shower. Should be repaired once we reported it. It was dull and down to 26c on one of the days ha ha.

Review 16：Nearby bars and restaurants. Excellent indoor pool, sauna and mini gym and squash court. Resort team were all top class from reception to cleaners and entertainment team.

Review 17：Car park at rear not finished a hazard.. too stony and dangerous. Main Pool at club marbella presents a squash court walled effect. I would recommend more plants grass and colour to enhance better effect of pool area like club calohonda.

Review 19：Thin walls. Shower cubical leaked. Paid for wifi. Having to take rubbish to the bins across the road (non on the resort) being picky I know!

Review 21：Noisy, uncomfortable sofa and bed, ants, insufficient sockets in the kitchen, wifi a little slow , lift often blocked by the cleaning staff, we where on the top floor. Local area and beach a little scruffy. We went as a group of people and were split in 2 locations. We had a bad week of weather. Late check not possible.

Strange in the height of the season. The appt desperately needed updated, but was clean and spacious.

Review 87：on arrival we were expecting to be staying at the resort shown on booking.com which shows all the faciities available.we booked crown resorts for this reason only.However on arrival we were told we were staying at club caronte, and had to climb back into the taxi ( children and luggage) The facilities in my opinion are not good.No air con The apartment is a basic 3*. Nothing special although they say they have just been refurbished yet the light in the front room was not fixed to the ceiling but hanging by its wires. Very dangerous. did not provide enough towels in room. had to call and ask for more. The apartment is a 15/20 min walk to shops/beach. could be a negative for older people and young children especially in 30 degree heat.The shuttle bus compensates for this which we thought was free but they made us pay 2 euro per person to go to the beach!!! . no wifi either. paid for internet service at del mar. took shuttle bus to see the other resorts a bit better but the quality and standards needs updating. would not stay here again .an doubt whether we would book any crown resort again

The fact that the resort has 5 sites that are available for you to use is very useful and gives a good choice of pools an entertainemment. Friendly staff. Loads of things to do close by.

Review 95：My sister and I stayed at one of the Crown resort complex's, I think there are 4 or 5 in total. We are in total praise of all of the staff, courtesy bus drivers and all,who we found kind, patient and friendly. The courtesy bus was a must from where we were as we didn't have a car and a very good part of the service. The room we had was more than perfect, it was more of an apartment.

Apparently when booking viaBookings.com, you get allocated one of 6 locations on arrival - notnecessarily the one you thought had been chosen. This is not a goodarrangement. Crown resorts were excellent in changing.
