Review 1：Week of Xmas,location of room on Westside.very cold also due to marble floors, heating measuring not updated. Bath , shower not easy, not safe, to reach. However the hotel was not full this time of the year, they gave us a minor room with smallest terras.

Review 24：Everything. From the moment you arrive to the moment you (have to unfortunately) leave there is nothing about this hotel that isn't excellent. Don't be put off going if you are not a golfer.

Review 25：The food was expensive and all frozen. Frozen burgers. Nachos were laughable. A packet of them in a bowl with squeezy cheese and squeezy green stuff. Told the manager. All very misleading on the menu. Pillows were horrible and lumpy. Bath is not great and too wide to step up into. I banged my leg quite badly.

Review 39：La Cala resort is a lovely hotel whether you play golf or not. Our room was spacious with a huge bed. We had a very large terrace with amazing views. The staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfast is amazing! We had a very relaxing week and we will definitely return.

Review 40：It wasn't as exclusive and as quiet as advertised, as I could hear the chatter and morning entertainment activities from the pool area coming through my front door, so it made it difficult to chill out until the pool had closed at 19:00.

Review 41：The staff were brilliant! The room was great, with a huge balcony overlooking the mountains, very clean and huge double bed with great Aircon and Wifi throughout the whole complex. There were lots of places to escape to for quiet time when the pool area was roudy.

Booked a meal in town through the reception only to find out on arrival that the restaurant had never received a booking! Reliability a problem for us!!

Review 49：We had booked 4 rooms for our group - we arrived at 3pm to check in. Our rooms were not ready until 5pm. There were no towels at the pool side and the member of staff was not willing to get any from the hotel for us. Dinner service in the evening was very good.. thankfully as Breakfast in the morning was a complete shambles. It took 45 minutes to get a table - which we cleared ourselves. There was no cutlery and no plates - the staff were all very stressed and there was a tense atmosphere. Our lunch order (for 7 people) was taken and had to be re taken by a member of staff that was more experienced - the first two plates of lunch came in 25 minutes - the other 5 lunches took 40 minutes to arrive. We stayed in this hotel a year ago - service was similar then - its a real shame they can't get it right as the hotel and facilities are so good

Review 100：The food at the Bodega bar leaves something to be desired . The fitness center could use updating and should be available around the clock not only during golfing hours. Some maintenance is needed in some of the rooms where the tile is chipping and the bath robes provided for the spa seemed overused .The place seemed to lack amenities catering to young children such as a playground.

A great place to relax with three nice golf courses and an amazing spa including a thermal circuit Jacuzzi , an indoor pool, a sauna and steam room as well as an igloo and a sunroom all included in the package . A beauty salon is also available on site . The town with its beach is only a short drive away. The New Year's Eve gala 5-course dinner was sublime and well worth the price which also included drinks and music.The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Older children were made to feel comfortable among a mostly adult clientele and were welcome on the golf course .
