Review 1：No free wifi. No mosquito screens so keeping the windows open at night to air was not an option which made the appartrment stuffy to sleep in.

Review 5：Booked for 6 people. The sofabed is not a sofa bed. It is a sofa with apull out separate mattress underneath. Not in any way a bed! Accordingto the staff this is a 'special Spanish sofabed'. As it was inthe lounge area it would be the adults sleeping on it which is certainlynot adequate... Not to mention the lack of bedding. Apartments for 6people are really designed for 4... fine for one or 2 nights for 6people... But anything beyond that... No.

Review 6：Good location... Further out than most places but not a bad thing.Mostly Spanish families holidaying here. Pool was great, kids loved it!Self catering facilities ample and view of pool great.

Review 7：There were quite a few cheeky added costs and the staff tried to make as much money as possible. Wifi was really expensive and we were told it was €5 euros per day for one device per person per room, this was not the case and it was slow anyway! A staff member tried to make us pay more for a ticket to a water park by telling us that the bits in Spanish meant something completely different and that there's was cheaper, without realising that the voucher was in English on the other side. They were friendly and helpful, but just watch out for money making schemes. Also jacuzzi and sauna were €3 per person per hour to use.

The sun loungers badly need to be replaced as a lot of them are broken and you can't adjust the backs of them. our cleaner of the apartment wasn't good, didn't come 2 days out of 10 and only skimmed over the place most days with some beds not made or bathrooms cleaned. Night time can be a bit noisy with people coming and going and slamming doors.

Review 22：Great place to base ourselves as we were on a golf trip. Accommodation is really good value and very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Calahonda Main Street for bars and restaurants is 3 minutes walk away. We will be returning on our next trip.

A bit of a hike to the beach, and no parking at beach either. OK if you are fit enough. Calahonda is a strange place, dominated by a motorway. Parking at hotel is limited.

Review 56：Swimming pool area was spotless! We had 2 x apartments sleeping 14 in total. Clean, basic & comfortable. Make sure you shower early evening as the hot water does not last long! Staff were polite & helpful. Pool bar does not open till June which we were not informed of until arrival but there's a mini market down the street and the staff were fine with us having our own food and drink around the pool etc. For what we paid to stay here it was fab!

Review 57：apartment smelled bad and was not clean. Toilet was wrapped in plastic saying "sanitized" but it was very dirty inside. Food smeared on the kitchen counter. Drawer handles were sticky. The whole apartment needed a deep cleaning and seemed very neglected. There was no kettle provided.

Review 59：Finding the location was difficult. We did not know the apartotel was not in La Cala de Mijas but in Calahonda. Moreover, the reception was closed when we arived. We had to call the emergency-number to get instructions how to obtain the key of the apartment. Eventually this worked out okay. However, we could not use the reserved parking space but had to park on the street.

Review 65：The coordinates for this hotel on booking.com website are wrong and lead to a place over 30 km away, which resulted on us driving an added 1.5 hour on a narrow and curvy road. Also the hotel is not situated on the city of Mijas, but on the village of Calahonda which is also good to know whilst trying to locate the hotel. Luckily the local police weare able to guide as to the right place. Booking.com really should check both the coordinates and address they have listed for this hotel.

Review 75：My friends and I were not impressed with the facilities for taking a shower. The apartment was said to equip and facilitate upto 6 people, however as soon as one person had a shower the water would go extremely cold. They said that this was due to the size of the hot water boiler, but we were not happy that an apartment that was supposed to be able facilitate upto 6 people did not have the facility for everybody to have a decent shower.

Review 77：Unfortunately some work was being carried outside of the hotel and the digging of the roads was very very noisy and disturbing. The only thing that is missing in the kitchen is a kettle and the hob didnt function properly. Needs to be updated.

There were areas around the gardens with lots of shade. The restarant was clean and fresh and offered good econimical food. The staff were polite.

Review 81：Every apartment ran out of hot water very quickly....I was in a 3 bedroom apartment (72) with only 2 other people and we always ran out of water on the 3rd shower. If there had been 6 people sharing the apartment it would have been a disaster. The cleaning was a bit hit and miss, some days it happened but others it didn't. Some apartments had a toaster and/or a kettle, some didn't. We all had a great time, but only because we booked lots of apartments so we could spread out.

Review 82：Good reception staff. Clean. Good position for both the village and the Club del Sol tennis club - there were 17 of us staying in various apartments. The place has obviously been redecorated since last year (we had 4 apartments last year). The restaurant was friendly and did good value breakfasts, but we didn't try it in the evening.
