Reviews for Hotel Palo

Review 1:The building and design are great. Everything looks so tiny but it gives a great atmosphere and feeling that you are in a fairy tale or some another century. The staff is very friendly. It is clean and comfortable.

Review 2:a bit too pricy for what you get, who wants to stay with lower costs, I would recommend some hotel a bit away from old town, the small double room was dark, no coffee or tea equipment in the room

Review 3:the old style of house and rooms, location

Review 4:Room was uncomfortable, only one of the two guests could see TV, acoustic isolation was bad, room was not tidied (beds), bathroom lavatory was very small, no air conditioning, breakfast room is not very cozy.

Review 5:Staff was friendly, you can easily walk to the city centre and restaurant area, common terrace, we could almost always park freely (it is difficult in August).

Review 6:Wi-Fi was a joke, signal extremely poor in the rooms (not usable) the first day. No signal at all the second day. Breakfast also very poor, not able to supply a simple toast or difficulties to get hot milk. They didn't make the room's bed in the morning... For this price and those scores in booking.com, I was expecting something better...

Review 7:Close to the marina, nice area

Review 8:The wifi left a lot to be desired. Aircon would be a great addition. And the beds could do with a refresh. Was a bit pricey.

Review 9:Breakfast was great. Staff were excellent and did some washing and ironing free of charge. Location was great for us, we had a wedding on the habour and it was a five minute walk.

Review 10:There are no blinds in the windows, a problem in Finland during summer. Breakfast was in the average.

Review 11:Really cosy room in a well preserved wood house close to Old Naantali. One of the cleanest and better maintained hotel we have been in Finland.

Review 25:friendly staff / owner

Review 26:Liian valoisat huoneet. yöllä ei saanut pimennettyä verhoilla.

Review 27:Ihana, pieni, rauhallinen maalaisromanttinen paikka.

Review 28:Walls are a bit thin

Review 29:Beautiful style overall, old wooden house, fantastic unique breakfast room in a former cellar

Review 30:1. Awfully squiking floors 2. No sound insulation 3. Slow wifi 4. Poor and only cold breakfast 5. I'm wondering how they got 3 stars!?

Review 31:The breakfast could go up one notch

Review 32:A traditional wooden building with matching decor. New bathrooms, antique furniture.

Review 33:Breakfast was served in a room in the basement, which was not very aesthetically pleasing.

Review 34:The room and bathroom were very clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable. We could open the windows to enjoy the cool air.

Review 35:acoustic permeability is huge, you can hear your neighbours.

Review 36:Nice and lovely place, not far from the center of the city as also near to marina and Mummy World. It was my business trip and 2nd stay in this hotel. First time it was a year before and i was with my wife, we have big room, with bath (not shower). Perfectly. this time i have small room, with two small beds and small shower (3S type, if you know what i mean) but for two nights during business trip it's more then enough. at summer time this place should be perfect place to stay.

Review 37:It's a pity that not a single channel in the Russian language on TV :):)

Review 38:Very nice and attentive hostess. Clean and very comfortable room. Quiet and peaceful town. The best place to relax in the winter from the hustle and bustle of the city. Thank you so much for everything.

Review 39:We very much liked the b&b type hotel and the cozy and spacious old country style room with a recently modernized spacious bathroom. A most appropriate kind of place to stay in Naantali famous for its lovely old town with wooden houses. A parking space in the yard was a welcome bonus.

Review 40:A nice and quiet place, made into old big house many small rooms, which were decorated by an old furnitures. A breakfest room were at the cellar, which gave a nice atmosphere. The place was middle of the town and only couple hundred meters from the restaurant area at the seaside.

Review 41:No serious complaints. No shower curtains, so bathroom floor gets wet(Nordic custom?). Pillows a bit hard. Need desk for laptop.
