Review 1：The staff were miserable. On arrival the receptionist was rude and had no customer service skills. All the staff in the hotel appeared miserable and this reflected in the mood of the hotel. This is supposed to be a 4star hotel and compared to other 4 star hotels I have stayed in it did not match by any standard.

Review 2：The position of the hotel was brilliant and the swimming pool was lovely.

Review 3：Not much choice of soft drinks and juices in the All inclusive formula if you don't drink alcohol. Too much smoke in the restaurant at times due to the grill. The wifi signal in the rooms is very poor, at least on the 6th floor where I was.

Review 4：The hotel is not very luxurious, it's somewhere between a 3 and a 4 stars hotel, but our stay was perfect. You can have a nice view if you get a room with sea view, but expect to walk about 800m to get to the nearest sandy beach as the hotel is in a rocky area. The staff are very friendly and there was live music or dance every evening. I found the food good enough, though some dishes were repetitive, there were always some new ones too.

Review 5：Grumpy and unhelpful receptionist. First room: awful view and air conditioning did not work. Poor service in bar. Tables not cleared - looked awful. Same for the pool area - attention to detail not evident.

Review 6：Food was good. Pool was great. Situated in a nice place. Room once we had been moved on fourth night was much better - 10th floor (from 1st flloor - avoid!).

Review 7：Each room has a balcony with sea view. It was pleasant to listen to the sea during the night. My room was turned eastwards: first I missed the sunshine in the afternoon, later on the weather was hot and I really enjoyed this side. Free parking. Helpful staff. Good breakfast and variety of food for dinner. Comfortable walk to beaches, along the sea. Silent hours after midnight.

Review 8：I enjoyed my spacious de-lux 10th floor room the best .I had a great view of the sea from my balcony. Both breakfast & dinner had a good variety of food.

Review 9：Food was limited choices and at times not great. Vegetarian choice consisted of salad or salad. On HB not even free water with your meal.

Review 11：As with a previous stay lots of children in large groups for the Best Swimming Centre. If they could have allocated sitting times in restaurant as very very busy because of this some guests had to return later for a table.

Some people cleared a table and laid out new table cloth and cutlery themselves!! Hotel must have got rid of staff at end of August and left a skeleton staff who cannot cope. This is not good customer service. We also noticed no maître around, totally disorganized. A real shame.

Review 17：Breakfast was fine, but we felt the evening meal could have been more variety - not 4*. There was very limited snacks available to buy if you were not on all inclusive - just a sandwich or small salad, not even a bag of crisps could be found!

Review 18：The hotel was in a prominent position overlooking the sea. The hotel rooms and lounge and bar area were very comfortable. The outside terrace was great but can imagine this gets very full in high season. Pool was excellent and you can swim in the sea from just outside the hotel.

Review 20：Amazing views!!! Balcony where I could use the wifi. Not too far from town or the main beach areas. Helps to have a car to visit the awesome beaches on this part of the island. Parking right in front of hotel.

Review 21：Charge for water for anyone not on the all-inclusive rate - even with meals. Daily charge for cleaning pool towels if they needed changing. Poor quality house wine. Unable to take drinks to or from Dining room.

Review 36：Location is very nice. Wonderfull view! We had a room on the 5th floor with a corner balcony, enough privacy! We had no noise from our neighbours. The food is good and enough. About 15 min walking distance from different beaches and yes you have to have a car if you do not like walking (this is also a bit disolated area). But that's why we chose it. There is not a lot to do in this hotel and also not al lot of kids (very nice and quite!). Mostly populated by Germans.

Review 38：fantastic location, very helpful staff and biker friendly, very good food and selection, large terrace to pool , great pool to suit all ages, hotel is builts on the rocks adjacent the sea which has access and steps to allow you to swim safely in the sea. and a sunset to rival anywhere

Review 41：It's a 4-star hotel but struck me more as a 3-star because of the size of the room, the quality of the mattress and there not being tea-making facilities in the room. The walls are pretty thin - it's easy to hear the TV, conversations or snoring coming from other rooms. Breakfast finishes at 10:00, and they simply turn the lights off at 9:45 which I didn't find very welcoming, although they'd let you carry on eating and didn't kick you out on the dot. The tea was awful, whether you got it at breakfast or from the bar - the water tasted of chlorine and wasn't actually boiled, just came out of a cheap machine.

Review 42：Great location + swimming pool / sunbathing area. Stunning sea view from the room. Enjoyed the free Tai Chi in the morning. The staff were very friendly - from reception and managers to cleaners.

Review 55：beds. not only firm but uneven with even firmer edges of each mattress and worn through, no true double. didn't sleep very well. not enough power sockets in the room, had to unplug tv to recharge cell phone! wifi, although free (good) was extremely slow and during peak hours crashing.

Review 57：Very good hotel, well located just by the sea. All rooms have sea view! It's a realy good place to rest and enjoy good food. The food in the restaurant varies every day and it's in general very good! The staff treated us with courtesy and kindness. Many thanks to all the staff for our wonderful stay. Staff were the best asset of the hotel; they were most welcoming, friendly, hardworking and efficient. Thanks to Victoria, a very pleasant receptionist, I got a very nice quiet room on the upper floor with the sea view - just gorgeous! Cleaning lady was very attentive also - never forgot to replace missing bathroom accessories. Buffet was good value for money. Highly recommended. Mgt. Cork.
