Reviews for Hotel Le Saint-Yves

Review 1:The hotel decors was shabby, the staff were surly, the breakfast was poor and it was expensive at £116 per night.

Review 2:We visited Le Treport after watching the French TV show Witness. The town is interesting with lots to see and great places to eat.

Review 3:It was difficult to ventilator the room as with the window open there is some traffic noise. Useful roller blind for privacy.

Review 4:Location just far enough from the harbour bustle and noise, just close enough to stroll in to eat. Very friendly welcome on arrival

Review 5:- The separate toilet room smelt heavily of cigarette smoke, so although it was meant to be a no smoking room it was obvious where guests had been smoking and it wasn't outside! - A large blob of tomato ketchup on the light switch in the hall, but that was the only issue we found in relation to cleanliness, otherwise okay. - A short walk into Le Treport town centre over the harbour bridges which can be raised at times to let boats pass. Not a real problem unless you don't like heights or water as the metal framework on the bridges is an open lattice style, which can make some nervous. You can go round by road, but this is much longer.

Review 6:- We had the suite that slept 4 in 2 double bedrooms, with a sitting room, large bathroom with bath and shower. Both rooms had balconies overlooking the harbour and town. Spectacular views of the cliffs and church, which are illuminated at night. - Free designated on-site parking. - Immediately next to the railway station, but we heard no noise, as we were at the front - A very French hotel and resort, with few things translated into English, so this makes you try and use French language skills, although ours are terrible, we got by! - Mers-les-Bains, with carousels, painted houses and pebble beach and Eu, with Palace and Cathedral both in the immediate area, are well worth a visit - Lots of seafood restaurants in town! - Excellent exhibition on in the Forum when we visited; all about the British/ Canadian Hospital at Le Treport in The First World War - Some streets in Le Treport old town have brilliant information boards with historical photographs showing how it used to look - Watching the ships go through the harbour barriers from the balcony of the hotel is interesting too.

Review 7:Just by the train station, nice location. The staff were friendly. Big rooms, bigger than we thought, can hear the sound of seagulls, love that:) Strong wifi, and nice and large bed :) We didn't take the breakfast, but I believe it'd be great.

Review 8:Very minor point, but only had tea in room and no milk

Review 9:Large clean room, great shower. Fresh fruit for breakfast including melon and cherries. Plenty of coffee.

Review 10:There is nothing really bad, but I would mention the loo in our suite. Small isn't the word, but I doubt all rooms are the same.

Review 11:Being a short walk to the centre of town and restaurants, all of which can be seen from the hotel. The walk takes you over the locks that control shipping and fishing vessels in and out of Le Tréport. It's all great fun.

Review 12:The owner gave me the code for the wifi, neither my phone nor my tablet could get access, he insisted it was a problem with my things - I immediately picked up wifi elsewhere……so, charming as he was, he was wrong.

Review 13:Great view off le Treport, very convenient to either (fairly long) walk, or an easy drive to the wonderful choice of restaurants. Although simple, the hotel has a charm. We had the suite which had two bedrooms and a balcony, so we really enjoyed the views, especially at night. Private car parking was a bonus. Breakfast was a buffet with a good choice.

Review 14:Being on the third floor - NO LIFT! Breakfast very dissapointing-par baked rolls, plastic ham and pre-packed cheese.

Review 15:Very spacious room with sea views and quiet. Free parking Away from the mading crowd yet easy access to centre ville.

Review 16:In the annex the breakfast was a little tired.

Review 17:Lots of space and a good bathroom.

Review 18:Fridge and kettle a bonus. Helpful advice on eating out and finding way around. Breakfast excellent.

Review 19:Excellent location. Great value for money.

Review 20:Breakfast needed some ham or boiled eggs

Review 21:Big bedroom, comfortable bed, fridge

Review 22:Ideal location

Review 23:No complaints or suggestions

Review 24:Room was spacious, good shower facilities in a spacious bathroom. Bed was excellent.

Review 25:Nothing

Review 26:Everything

Review 27:GOOD POSITION IN A NICE TOWN AND SUROUNDING AREA

Review 28:No shampoo or body lotion. No fresh French bread.

Review 29:Climb up the stairs to our room!

Review 30:Large room and bathroom.

Review 31:The wifi doesn't work.

Review 32:Poor English speaking staff

Review 33:location, parking, breakfast,

Review 34:Bit expensive

Review 35:Quiet yet close enough to bars and restaurants

Review 36:The stairs not good for handicapped and coffee only for breakfast sat is very expensive.

Review 37:Situation,cleanliness and excellent continental breakfast,

Review 38:My room faced the main road which was quite busy throughout the evening so ask for a room the station side of the building unless you want a view of the town.

Review 39:A little gem of a hotel, the rooms not being little at all, with a very large bathroom (& separate WC). Very comfortable with lots of nice additional features such as a mini fridge, tea/coffee making facilities & excellent furniture & decor. There are external shutters on the windows to keep out the sun & noise. My room had nice view of Le Treport town across the river & harbour opposite.

Review 40:Breakfast coffee could have been better.

Review 41:Fresh clean tasteful decor. Nicely placed facing the harbour short walk from Le Treport and Mers-les-bains sea fronts. Efficient friendly staff no fuss. Close to the railway station. Ample breakfast good choice.

Review 42:Nothing.

Review 43:Basic hotel in a useful location near the station and beach but some distance from the main town of Le Treport. Own parking without charge outside the hotel. Adequate buffet breakfast (by French standards)

Review 44:Beautiful small hotel with lovely staff. Very clean and well presented. Good location between beach and harbour. Lovely breakfast in a beautiful breakfast room.

Review 45:Clean and comfortable . In a quiet area but only minutes walk from the front and the shops and restaurants . We would definitely use the hotel again .

Review 46:Just a bit too far for walking into town a second time for an evening meal. Rather naughty but if the evening menu had been in English we might have had dinner - not sure if it had to be booked in advance. Tea bags provided but we had to take in our coffee as none in the tray.

Review 47:Everything we needed for an overnight stay and longer - including a fridge and a kettle at last in the room. Beautiful dining room with one of the best breakfasts we have had in the many hotels we stayed in over our 3 week trip.

Review 48:Great location. Very good accommodation with massive bathroom. Wonderful breakfast. A typically well managed french hotel.

Review 49:Well equiped room. Location. Helpful staff.

Review 50:Friendly,helpful staff. They found and returned my lost wedding ring for which I will be eternally grateful.

Review 51:Matress

Review 52:Position and price.

Review 53:The room was spotless and very comfortable. Excellent value for money. Good breakfast at reasonable price.

Review 54:Nothing !!

Review 55:Staff were so kind in changing my room for a better view. Location - a short walk to the centre. Quiet and easy free parking.
