Review 1：No sound insulation whatsoever. You share the life of your neighbors, every step and every word can be heard.

Review 3：Treated rudely by man who ran the restaurant/bar. Did not take my order. Had to get my coat and eat in a neighborhood place. No provocation or verbal exchange.

Review 15：It was the most expensive night (180 Euro) On Our Camino. The Room Was smaller than small -and so was the bathroom, The breakfast Was impertinent. It was in combination with the room and the price - the worst stay on our Camino. Nirvana - the name says everything. Stay away.

Review 16：We paid €190 per night rather than the normal €40 or so, because of the demand for rooms during the week of the championships. We reserved parking when booking which was confirmed by the hotel. On arrival we were directed to park outside the hotel on the street which required us to pay for a parking ticket every two hours (maximum allowed). We had to run back and forth from watching the competition to keep renewing the parking ticket.

Review 17：We went to Ponferrada to watch the World Road Cycling Championships - the location of the hotel was ideal. The rooms were clean and the staff friendly. If we had paid the normal price for our stay it would have been excellent value for money.

Review 18：not personable, owner couldn't be bothered to move me to a quieter room even though I was paying 65 euros a night. Reception was often empty and dark. Happy to leave.

Review 22：Lack of service at reception desk. Dining room person tried to help me, but she was limited in what she could do. I was leaving early in the morning and made arrangements to have my luggage picked up, but there was no one at the reception to hand it over to the transport company. I ended up taking it with me at a great inconvenience since I was walking. I would never stay here again nor recommend it to anyone. This is no way to run a business.

Review 54：This hotel offers basic accommodation which is clean and comfortable. The bathroom was great and with endless hot water. The young staff were energetic, helpful and welcoming. I arrived late in the evening and the bar was able to provide food; breakfast was good. The hotel is really good value for money - I have paid four or five times as much for far inferior rooms and service in big cities. As i needed to be close to the bus station the location was excellent for me.

Review 64：The hotel is well situated for the city centre. It is also close to the bus terminus. The hotel is very clean, with good facilities. As for the staff, they did everything possible to make our stay pleasant. They were so kind and helpful. In fact, after departing, I received a call from the Hotel, to say that I had left my glasses behind in the room. The staff quickly arranged for them to be sent to my home address. The staff at this hotel are probably the best I have ever met, in particular, Patricia, who is an absolute star. We will be returning to hotel Nirvana

Review 65：Located in newer part of city but within 10 minutes of the castle area. Hotel is fresh, clean, has shiny marble floors with very helpful staff, one of whom had good English. Basic breakfast included. Easy to unload at hotel although car park two blocks away. It was a good starting point for Las Medulas.
