Reviews for Hotel Novo
Review 1:The front desk clerk was not present so we had to call to get help and or information. Although the hotel is right on The Camino, it is on the very far west end of the city and remote from any services. It has a restaurant as indicated on Booking.com but since we were there on a Sunday, the restaurant did not serve any hot meals and there were no other restaurants around so we had to hire a taxi to take us to an eating establishment since it was pouring rain. Also, on Booking.com, it is indicated there are laundry facilities but again, since it was a Sunday, there was no laundry service available which is an essential for Camino walkers.
Review 2:our room was very nice with comfortable furnishings and amenities. It was spotlessly clean.
Review 3:Two gentlemen at reception were super friendly and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located just off the motorway and is easy to find. There's a petrol station next door.
Review 4:- Very good for those who travel by car: Ponferrada is quite close, but here you don't have any problems with parking - Good wi-fi - Breakfast available in the cafeteria - Air-conditioning in the room was a great advantage due to very hot weather
Review 5:Located on the Camino Trail, comfortable room
Review 6:Super friendly staff
Review 7:All was good.
Review 8:The lovely clean room, great bathroom, helpful staff and great meal. It was very good value for the money.
Review 9:right next to the camino
Review 10:Nothing
Review 11:WiFi Room size. Bathroom size Free parking Good location if you are with car
Review 12:Total lack of aesthetics, Hair on sheets, Heavy air
Review 13:Price, Staff, Wi-fi
Review 14:We are walking the Camino so we are tired and hungry. We could not get a meal until 9 pm, then the meal was just OK. The A/C in the room was not working too good so we had to have the window open, the hotel is on a busy highway and next door to a truck stop. So not much sleep that night.
Review 15:Not much.
Review 16:Nothing to see in the area. need a car.
Review 17:Situated on the outskirts of Ponferreda, easy acess from the NV1 road. Its a working truckers stop but the staff are friendly and there is a large car park. Not the best i've stayed in but does the job if you need to be in the area for a couple of days. Its a good half an hour walk into town and the city centre does not hold much appeal.
Centrally located on highway (not audible!) For pilgrims bit far out of town but right on the pilgrimage!
Review 19:A bit far from the city, but allright because we have a car and needed parking.
Review 20:Comfortable room. Staff willing to help. Parking.
Review 21:Very little food a available throughout the day. Staff not interested.
Review 22:Clean comfortable room. Good heating, plenty of hot water.
