Reviews for Citotel Stim'Otel

Review 1:Attention: The parking is not 4.5euro max. a day but 7.5euro (I arrived at 17h and left at 10h next morning). Cafe at breakfast could be stronger ...

Review 2:Very friendly staff. Rooms quiet and clean. Close to Walibi and downtown. You can easily walk with restaurants very close. Breakfast ok for a french hotel where usually you only get croissant and jam.

Review 3:Being woken up in the mornings by cleaning staff , when notice on door said do not disturb or enter. Breakfast , unless you got down early food had run out. Kitchen staff not helpfull

Review 4:Location, parking , friendly staff , clean rooms.

Review 5:A few minor irks: There is no screen on the bath/shower so water goes everywhere. A small screen would be helpful. The sensor light in the bathroom went on every time you walked past the bathroom. No storage for luggage and minimal hanging space for clothes. Might have been nice to have been greeted at breakfast and to have everything explained.

Review 6:Hotel seems to attract a lot of business travellers. The location is excellent - very near the train station, buses run past the door and pedestrian shopping area 3 min walk away. The staff were very welcoming, efficient and helpful. The room was very clean and it was nice to have an English language channel (CNN) because the French dub everything. The restaurantserved good food. Breakfast was generous and a good variety.

Review 7:It is a great small hotel, and I enjoyed my stay there.

Review 8:I liked the location as it was walking distance from Agen station. The rooms were clean and tidy. It was perfect for myself as it was like a single room with 2 single beds. I was only there for 2 nights and did not have breakfast at the hotel as I woke up late in the mornings.

Review 9:We were on a bike trip so only had a small back pack each. Don't think the room could have accommodated our two large suitcases plus two backpacks which we were in Europe with.

Review 10:Staff were extremely helpful. No problem to store our bikes in a secure location. Service at the hotel restaurant was also very obliging and the food was great.

Review 11:Neither my wife or I speak much French and the staff spoke limited English, this was not a problem but when my wife's breakfast transpired to have a fresh fruit salad that seemed to be off and a yougart that was off it was too difficult to try and explain, my more traditional French breakfast of croisants etc was OK

Review 12:We arrived in Agen in the afternoon on a Sunday and the place was dead as is the norm for French towns on a Sunday. The hotel was easy to find with Sat Nav and the staff member was helpful. We were allowed to put our motorcycles in a locked garage within the hotels underground car park. Hotel was clean and tidy and served our needs very well. Location was excellent for the town and the room spacious enough and quite modern with a clean and comfortable bed and clean bathroom. We would stay again.

Review 13:No shower curtain so bathroom floor and washbasin areas needed to be dried with towels after each shower. Parking ok but price of 4.50 Euro/24hours not advised at time of booking. Restaurant closed on Saturday and Sundays. Breakfast expensive at 9.50Euro/person and limited in choice.

Review 14:Beds very comfortable. Air conditioning functioned very well. Hotel Restaurant was good. Staff helpful, attentive and pleasant. Central location; cafes/restaurants close by.

Review 15:My credit card was compromised at this Hotel, It was the only place I used my credit card on our whole trip, they must have had something attached to the credit card machine to copy my information.

Review 16:Nothing now

Review 17:Central location . Pleasant and accommodating staff. They arranged storage over night for our bikes in secure lock up. We ate in the restaurant . Quality, presentation and portions were excellent.

Review 18:No Restaurant

Review 19:Quick and efficient booking and checking in systems.

Review 20:Able to check in early when feeling pretty exhausted from travel was great. Neat room with good facilities. Breakfast downstairs also nice.

Review 21:Nice and central, staff great.

Review 23:Convenient location for station and eating out

Review 24:They forgot to call me twice for my wake up call

Review 25:Location was great Service was fine

Review 26:no complaints

Review 28:Restaurant was nice. Good staff

Review 29:Nothing

Review 30:Friendliness of staff, who spoke very good english and were extremely helpful regarding parking etc.

Review 31:No dedicated parking

Review 32:Access to town by foot

Review 33:Restaurant closed on Sunday. Not many alternatives open in town on a Sunday.

Review 34:A comfortable room with a bath and shower . Good parking on site. Good location for shops and old town

Review 35:The location was only a few blocks away from the train station in central Agen. It was a relatively small room, but it was clean. It's not a five-star or four-star hotel, but for what you're paying for, it was well worth it.

Review 36:There was no hot water for a shower or bath.

Review 37:It was convenient and easy to find. Had an elevator and easy parking behind the hotel. I was only passing thru town so the smallness of the room didn't bother me.

Review 38:I asked for a non-smoking room but the one I allocated reeked of stale smoke, which was disappointing.

Review 39:Helpful staff, clean and tidy, comfortable, good breakfast, fair price.

Review 40:Very basic accomodation, rooms very small, bathroom very basic. One nights accomadation was enough despite the good town location.Parking was difficult to locate.

Review 41:Location in the town centre was good, however very noisy over night.

Review 42:Whilst travelling through France, We booked this hotel last minute as our original destination had no vacancies. It was late & a panic booking. Only listed as 2* & it is exactly that. Clean but very very basic & dated. Breakfast was pricey at €9pp. Free wifi, public parking nearby.

Review 43:Not a great deal although receptionist was very friendly

Review 44:Even €73 per one person/night seemed to me a bit expensive. Hotel falls in to €50 category.

Review 45:Good location on the route to Eastern Pyrenees, Perpignan or Barcelona if you need to take a overnight break. Secure car park just next to the hotel €2 per night!

Review 46:A standard town/city hotel. The rooms were clean, basic but functional. Close to all amenities. Underground parking is available which we took cost a reasonable 4euros per night and was close. There is a lift.

Review 47:Attentive and efficient staff

Review 48:tv channal all in french

Review 49:small bar and table with chair

Review 50:Hotel restaurant closed at the weekends. No shower curtain leading to a flooded bathroom. No hairdryer in room. Décor dated and depressing.

Review 51:facilities in room very basic although spotlessly clean lighting poor, bedside lights should be provided.

Review 52:Restaurant very good with excellent service.

Review 53:Friendly staff, great location and value for money

Review 54:very welcoming and comfortable, and just a short walk from the station. We have now stayed at this hotel 3 years running, with great pleasure.

Review 55:Friendly & helpful staff. Perfect location for sight seeing and shopping. Parking available close by with special daily rate.

Review 56:Payment for the adjacent parking is confusing. We paid twice

Review 57:Value for money modern restaurant

Review 58:Great location Nice staff

Review 59:Good vaue and most helpful staff

Review 60:Limited movement space in room.

Review 61:Excellent receptionist who helped us park cycles securely and suggested town sights.

Review 62:Very welcoming, after our long rail journey from London. Excellent dinner, served quite late as we had requested. Nice cool quiet rooms.

Review 63:Excellent location to walk around this wonderful old city. Had good above or below ground parking right behind the hotel with discount.

Review 64:Very helpful staff

Review 65:Location to city centre and good parking facilities. Very friendly andhelpful staff. Good restuarant.
