Review 1：The public areas were a little dark. There were plenty of lamps and lights but they weren' lit.

Review 3：We went for New Year´s Eve. Dinner was too expensive for the quality they offered. Rest was ok.

Review 9：This is a summer hotel, not suitable for winter stays, no heating on, room and bathroom very cold. Reception arranged a heater for the bathroom, room heated by aircon system, took a long time. Restaurant a disaster, cook arrived 40 minutes late. We ordered the menu, portions exceptionally small, the piece of fish served to my wife was an insult, the head waiter agreed and promptly ordered another piece. We waited 40 minutes, nothing arrived. My wife and I were the only people in the restaurant. We left without signing the bill, nothing was charged, Went to bed hungry.

Review 11：If you are a Tea Drinker then you would need a kettle in the room. The bathroom was large with a double shower but would have preferred a bath as well.

Review 15：The hotel and its extensive gardens are delightful. Our room was comfortable and well appointed. The staff are friendly and efficient. The food and dining room are first rate. We stayed at an off peak time and the manager informed us that we could check out at a later time to suit our travel arrangements.

Review 16：The most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept in. No complementary water in room. Still have to pay for sauna use. I think the hotel must be under new ownership since last year as it just doesn't have the edge that it once had.

Review 36：Too many disappointments sadly. Firstly, it should definitely be adult only. The setting does not lend itself to children playing in the pool which is in great need of refurbishing. It was dirty and tiles were missing. Dinner was also below expectations.

Review 50：The professionalism, discretion and friendliness of the staff. The breakfasts were displayed beautifully with an excellent choice to start the day. The hotel had fragrant aroma and was spotless. Although we didn't use the pool , the surroundings looked well maintained. I'm not sure whether in the height of the season whether I would like to relax on the 'beds' surrounding the pool, but that is only my thoughts and not a negative for the hotel.

Review 51：At 8.45 they started using a leaf blower that was very noisy and woke us up. The Spa was broken and we couldn't use it. The massager was arriving only at 11 the following morning when we were there only one night. So we left with no Spa or Massage.

Review 57：We are vegetarians so food choices were limited. The only place we could eat, other than the very good breakfast, was on the terrace as they had a couple of options. The food prices were quite high apart from on the terrace where the price was reasonable.

Review 116：The staffing levels were poor, it sometimes took a while to get a drink during the day at the bar or attention at the Reception because there was no-one on duty. It was impossible to get a drink in the garden by the pool - you had to go upstairs to the bar if you wanted one. We never had one in the garden for this reason! The breakfast room is a bit dark and depressing and the staff seem to just stand around whilst visitors have to help themselves to tea and coffee - hence several visits to the buffet.

Every fixture and fitting has a price tag on it, should you wish to spend 5000€ on a mirror. How vulgar. When we mentioned we had to leave for an early flight (before the breakfast room opened), they made sure we had coffees and croissants at the bar in the morning - so considerate and thoughful! The room, terrace and the rest of the hotel fantastic. A real value at just 115 per night - wow !
