Review 1：Excellent staff! Very friendly and helpful. Super clean hotel. The food is excellent in the restaurant. The spa area gets crowded but it is still nice and comfortable.

Review 11：Toilet was in separate room with no wash hand basin. Level of lighting so poor reading was impossible (but this seems to be a general trend). Hotel’s location unfortunate as rooms face high stone retaining wall on very busy road, creating noise levels that double (treble?) glazing fortunately kept to a tolerable level.

Review 12：Friendly welcome at reception. Room clean and well furnished with large, comfortable bed. Bathroom had walk-in shower (which elderly travellers like us need!). Restaurant had menu including local and seasonal dishes and served a great value meal (including best venison medallions I ever ate). Easy to find, plenty parking.

A family business as the owner was the chef and the accounts dept., a charming person and said many of his family make up the staff. The food was very good.
