Reviews for Hotel Jules Verne Site du Futuroscope
Review 1:The bathroom is basic with a hairdryer that overheats quickly. Don't get your kids to use it alone.
Review 2:Good location a short walk from the Futoroscope. Free shuttle that we did not need to use. Friendly staff, quiet clean room with comfortable bedding.
Review 3:Decor of the rooms a little tired and worn-out.
Review 4:Close to restaurant and with a shuttle bus to Futuroscope Park just outside. We had a corner room, which gave extra privacy and more space to the bunk beds.
Review 5:The reception staff were very helpful but the main entrance to the hotel and the reception area were quite gloomy (during the day) and a bit worn and musty. However, the room itself was such great value I'd definitely stay again when visiting Futuroscope
Review 6:Our kids loved the submarine themed room with bunk beds. It was compact (as we expected) but well laid out and, although a little bit worn, very clean. The beds were very comfortable. We selected a quiet room which lived up to it's name!
Review 7:The restaurant was in another building and was a pay at the door buffet. There was a menu option but also choose and pay at the door. The bar facility in the hotel was almost non existant, beer but no wine and very few other options. The bathroom and WC facilities were comparable to an Etap hotel. For a one night stop it served its purpose, just.
Review 8:WIFI and Location by the A10
Review 9:Breakfast not worth the extra money. If we stay again, we'll probably just get something in futuroscope.
Review 10:Location was ideal for the theme park. Room was large enough for all of us and our luggage. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Review 11:Not the most charming surroundings, but we knew that as it is just off the autoroute.
Review 12:We picked this for the location and cheerful decor, both suited us perfect as a cheap pitstop on our way to south of France.
Review 13:It's not so much as a do not like just the breakfast wasn't worth the money we spent tbf. On the stop over the way home I took my sandwich toastie maker in and made those before our trip home.
Review 14:This was a stop over enroute further south and was just what we needed, I would definitely use this hotel again.
Review 15:Hotel is quite tired, in need of a refresh. Hotel lacked sparkle.
Review 16:Staff friendly and helpful Good sized family room Good parking Breakfast limited in choice but plentiful
Review 17:No AC installed means a most incredible foot-smelly room, where a double bed and two bunk beds barely fit. Bathroom amazingly basic, portajohn-like and with no amenities except except some kind of hand washing foam. Soundproof non existent. For the price of a regular *** hotel, this ** hotel is seriously lacking.
Review 18:Theming
Review 19:No Wi-Fi even though they said there would be. Manager did not want to fix it. Eventually on one of our laptops it worked, but very slow. The others couldn't log on.
Review 20:Nice building
Review 21:Breakfast could be improved
Review 22:Good value perfect for what we wanted. Quick stopover near the motorway en route South
Review 23:Poor small rooms
Review 24:12 minutes from Futuroscope
Review 25:the rest....
Review 26:The photos in the web...
Review 27:Very well signposted Plenty of space despite beds for 4
Review 28:The free transport to and from Futuroscope was excellent and my daughter loved the themed room.
Review 29:Very simple.
Review 30:Location.
Review 31:noisy day and night. shower not thought of properly - water everywhere. railings for upper bunk bed are unsafe - yonger child slips under, so had to sleep on the lower bed
Review 32:rooms in submarine theme 24h reception
Review 33:breakfast; really was budget fare but can't have everything
Review 34:layout of room excellent. kids loved design, plenty of room to move even if of course this was budget with 4 people in one small space. very impressed and location great for futuroscope and autoroute
Review 35:we were just having a quick stop over for the one night. This place would have been great if we had young kids & going to the fun parks. It was very comfortable though in our quadruple room with space bunk beds.
Review 36:The hotel needs a good clean, it stank and looked grubby. All night all you could hear was doors slamming. The shower room was disgusting the water didn't drain properly. The receptionist in the morning just wanted the key back and wasn't courteous. Will never stay there again!
Review 37:The kids liked the themed room, as they didn't notice all the chips and scrapes all over the paintwork.
Review 38:Staff efficient and friendly. Kids loved the bunk beds in the rooms with the boat theme! Very comfortable clean rooms! would definitely recommend and stay again.
Review 39:Room was very cramped for a family of 4. Booked because of the "submarine" decor, but it was just really blue paint with a few holes in the beds.
Review 40:Location was 5 minute walk from Futuroscope.
Review 41:Breakfast was cantine style and the rooms had no air conditioning and we had temperatures over 30 degrees celcius, Very hot nights. Apart from the theme park there is little to do in the area, either stuck in hotel room or at the theme park.
Review 42:Good value for money.
Review 43:No air-conditioning. In extremely hot weather the room was unbearably hot and we had to open the window. This meant being distcurbed by noise.
Review 44:Good value for money and well-located close to motorway for overnight stop-over.
Review 45:The room was not really suitable for young children ( I have a 3 and 2 year old). The carpet was well worn and the beds were not the most comfortable.
Review 46:The location was great for an overnight stop on the trip back to the UK.
Review 47:the breakfast coffee was really awful, no area for children to play when parents are busy (e.g. having breakfast), no child service. Air was too dry in the room.
Review 48:the personnel was really nice and helpful (we had to bring our son to the hospital in the middle of the night), the room concept (submarine-type) is highly appreciated by children, the mattresses were of good quality (we were not sinking in it), the hotel was quiet and well located. Of good value for a short stay and trip to the Futuroscope.
Review 49:Jules Verne theme was weak
Review 50:Big family room, Bunk beds well designed Separate toilet and bathroom Comfy Bed Basic Breakfast
Review 51:Showers too small
Review 52:Personnal very friendly, perfect to visit Futuroscope.
Review 53:small rooms
Review 54:price
Review 55:Appropiate for visiting futuroscope
Review 56:Everything else was drab with canteen like restaurant, souless bar and few facilities
Review 57:Themed rooms were excellent
Review 58:no air-condition in the room
Review 59:the breakfast
Review 60:Hotel Jules Verne car park designers. They really get a short idea of car spaces width.
Review 61:Very good location, so close to the Futuroscope.
Review 62:No Bath
Review 63:Price Access to Futuroscope
Review 64:Room a little cramped.
Review 65:Easy to find, fun for children.
