Review 1：The hotel is outside of city center. It's great to get on to highway road but far from city center. But there is a shopping mall near by.

Review 14：Location is dreadful on the outskirts of town. The hotel was virtually empty and looked like it was about to close down. Breakfast was appalling. The parking situation was a joke and Ponferada apart from a castle has nothing to offer. Only town on our travels we didn't like.
Review 15：Poor lighting in basement. No menú available for breakfast or dinner. Air conditioning system extremely deficient. Changing password for Wi-fi not a good idea. No decent map of the city available.

Review 17：It was difficult to communicate with the reception staff. Breakfast was not offered as an option and the layout of the hotel not explained. The reception staff while helpful were not able to give accurate directions to areas in the locality.

Review 19：NOT A 4 STAR HOTEL AT ALL. Overpriced, no minibar, no restaurant, just cafeteria which close 8pm, I will never stay there again, I have been many times in Ponferrada and will stick to other hotels from the past next time.

But the hotel looks unfinished in reality: ugly and dark parking with many sharp corners, empty walls in rooms, paper thin walls and no hot water in a bathroom. And as a super-prize 100 MWatt spotlight looking right into your room window!

Review 25：there was a problem with the air conditioning in our room but the staff responded quickly by moving us to another room. the hotel is in a residential area and you need your car to take you into the city centre. the underground car parking is very tight!
