Reviews for Hotel Termal Abadia de Los Templarios

Review 1:We came by car from Portugal. The roads are challenging: winding, narrow. Coming from Madrid via Avila and Salamanca better way to go. Bring a GPS. Air-conditioning is set to a temp we found a little too warm.

Review 2:Room with balcony comfortable; marble bathroom/modern & large; parking garage; helpful staff (especially wait staff/bar tender); superior dinner buffet (and I am not a fan of buffets); evening entertainment; nice bar; beautiful grounds. I wish I had done more research about the "spa" and budgeted for use of the facilities which look wonderful. Near La Alberca, one of Spain's jewels. Plan to spend a day exploring.

Review 3:This hotel and it's staff take -everything- to the highest level possible, the 4-stars are well-earned here,We will certainly come again.

Review 4:The alarm of the tv went off at 8.00. We wanted to reserve a massage but it turned out that everything was booked for that day, which they could told us straight away.

Review 5:The rooms were nicely decorated, with a huge bed. The castle and surroundings were very beautiful.

Review 6:We didn't like the Disneyland atmosphere. I'm not interested in playing PAINTBALL!! Also the WiFi didn't work in the lobby or reception and wasn't offered in the room. The food was mediocre. The whole experience reminded me of Branson, Missouri which I have avoided for 30 years. Incidently our stay at the Parador at Cuidad Rodrigo was terrific!,

Review 7:location

Review 8:Seems like a lot of bus tours through this hotel. It didn't reallyaffect much accept for the mass check-in, check out and dining times. But, the hotel seemed ready for it.

Review 9:This is a great country side hotel. It is located very close to LaAlberca which is a beautiful town to visit and enjoy the food. This iswhere Spanish Jamon is at its finest! The spa is great but they chargeyou 30 Euro for it.

Review 10:We were advised that the rooms booked in the hotel itself wee notavailable and offered the villa. The villa was not furnished as I'dhoped. There was no bottle opener to have a drink from the minibar.Being a 5 minute walk from reception made it inconvenient to resolve. There were no towels available for the swimming pool. Again too far fromreception to resolve easily.

Review 11:The lunch was excellent. The best suckling pig I've tasted in years. Itis a local delicacy. The luxury villa we stayed in was very roomy andcomfortable. The village of La Alberca has been voted the prettiestvillage in Spain and I can see why.

Review 12:The air conditioning was fully centralised with no control in the room..... and it was switched off, so the room was too hot and sleepingdifficult.

Review 13:A stunning hotel with beautifuly furnished rooms in a fantastic locationwith wonderfull views. The hotel was modern but with a loverly "oldworld" traditional feel. Its a pity we were only stopping one night. Theresteraunt was first class, but the lack of English on the part of thestaff combined with our very limited Spanish made for an "interesting"meal. Good food though.

Review 14:no wifi at room, have go stay at lobby to get it. got phone call at early morning around 7am without reason, maybe they forget the previous morning call?

Review 15:The villas furniture and the poor breakfast

Review 16:The local , the environment
