Review 1：Staff was not that friendly especially the woman in the morning on checkout. You could not control the temperature of your own room. Either the entire hotel had the A/C available or just the heat. Not either or.

Review 3：the hotel had only one iron available, the surface was dirty which made the iron unusable. Had to run around the town looking for somewhere to iron a shirt. I had asked in the reservation for a quiet room, were given a room on the street side

Couldn't even get a coffee - were sent to a cafe round the corner. It's also a fair walk to the centre of town

Review 11：The AC did not work. We were told it broke Fri evening, however we checked in on Friday early afternoon and it did not work at that time. We had errands to run so decided to check on the AC once we got back. Staff was very rude about us mentioning that AC is not working, basically was told that this is too bad.

Review 36：Air conditioning was an issue. It was a lovely place, but was extremely hot. We had to change rooms to the dismay of the desk clerk, but the new room was still quite stuffy. The desk personnel were not really friendly or helpful and the hotel was a bit out of the way for what we were doing.

Review 37：The hotel was central to bars in the "new" part of Ponferrada and was just a short walk to the castle and old part of the city. The room was immaculate and very comfortable and the bathroom was beautiful.
