Review 4:We could not have found better hosts and friends than Pascal and Laurence. They have a wonderful central facility with lovely rooms and great breakfasts. Four of us were there a week and enjoyed every minute of their helpful company. I am sorry to have to share this perfect secret!
Review 5:The property doesn't have block out shutters on the street facing windows which means the light comes through as well as the street sweeper noise at night.
Review 6:The willingness of the hosts to have us enjoy our stay, from restaurant recommendations to advising on day trips and walks in the area.

Review 23:We had a lovely suite with a private sitting room overlooking the garden. Our hosts could not have been friendlier with helpful suggestions and ideas for exploring the region. Breakfast on the terrace outside with lots of regional and home made specialities was a real treat. This is a small hotel and with a very friendly atmosphere among the guests which we especially appreciated.
Review 24:Everything and especially so convenient to the airport. If we had of realized how beautiful this guest house was and the location we would have stayed longer, live and learn ...., NEXT TIME

Review 27:First class. From arrival, to lift to airport, our hosts could not do enough for us. The room was quiet, spotless, and a high standard. Will stay again.
Review 28:The weather prevented us from enjoying the pool and the tv was a little tricky, necessitating a call or two to Pascal who readily applied his special touch.
Review 29:The residence is itself a comfortable and charming site with useful facilities right on the edge of the most interesting part of Bergerac. The hosts are exceptionally welcoming, engaging and anxious to meet every need of their clients. We enjoyed our stay very much.
Review 30:Everything. What a find this place is, and in a beautiful part of France. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel most welcome by Pasquale and Laurenne. Great location, lovely pool and gardens to come back to, wonderful room, home made jams and cake at breakfast as well as happy conversation with other guests and Pasquale who always has a smile on his face. Can't wait to go back.
Review 31:Laurence and Pascal are the perfect hosts in what can only be described as the best bed and breakfast I have ever had the pleasure of staying at. It's like being at a friends house with just about everything being perfect. If Carlsberg did B&B they would only be second best behind Laurence and Pascal.
Review 32:A wonderful house with a lot of character. Staff were helpful and genuinely friendly. Everything had been considered for the comfort of guests The owner of the property took us to the airport at no extra cost.
Review 33:The other guests can be trying. Older Brits who will go on about their wonderful children/grandchildren at the breakfast table.
Review 34:A wonderful suite in an old restored house. The couple that own it are a delight, very helpful and good company; Pascale gave us a life to the station when we left as it was raining. Good location, a good swimming pool.
Review 35:The only problem we had the entire time was unreliable wifi. Everything else was absolutely perfect.
Review 36:Great hosts. Very friendly, helpful, and entertaining. Breakfast was fantastic everyday. The pool and garden were an oasis in Bergerac. Of special note, when it was time for us to go to the airport, we were unable to get a taxi, so Pascal offered to take us in his personal car. Absolutely great customer service. We would give them 11 out of 10. Above an beyond.

Review 45:Pascal and Laurence have done a stunning job renovating and decorating the suites, are marvellous hosts and produced a great breakfast. The pool and cold drinks were very welcome at the end of our cycle from Vezac. Thank you for making our 33rd wedding anniversary special. The best accommodation of our 1 month visit to France.
Review 46:I liked just about everything. We had a good welcome and safe place for our bikes. The room was spacious with both antique and modern features that blended superbly. There was a desk and armchairs in the anteroom and the bathroom was well equipped. The breakfast was plentiful and varied and included some home baking. The couple hosting us were very helpful and even gave us a lift back to the airport. Great hosts, great place to stay. We had chosen this hotel for nights one, thirteen and fourteen of our round trip of the Dordogne. Our experience there proved we had chosen well.

The house is very well located in the centre of town and easy walking distance from the mediaeval old town and the river. Breakfast is very informal overlooking the pool / garden area with freshly made cakes and bread / jams available.

Review 66:Where to start? The central location, the on site parking, the amazing rooms.....we had a sitting room a HUGE bedroom and a beautiful bathroom on the ground floor of a perfectly and lovingly restored period home. The owners and hosts Pascale and his wife Laurence were wonderfully accomodating. They prepared beautiful breakfasts and assisted us with local advice about things to see and do and excellent restaurants close by. We would return to stay with them and highly recommend it to anyone visiting beautiful Bergerac.

Review 70:Nothing. A perfect stay!
Review 71:A fabulous welcome from Laurence & Pascal who have lavished great care in creating a superb small hotel in the heart of Bergerac. Our suite of rooms was beautifully furnished and breakfast was superb - Laurence's home made cakes and jams are a particular recommendation.

Review 75:Absolutely everything. Warmly greeted by the owner, shown our suite in a classic traditional old french house and then had a good chat about where to eat, what to see and do. We could not have had a better place to stay with such delightful hosts. Our car was locked in their garage as we walked all around the old parts of BERGERAC.
Review 76:No clothes washing, drying and ironing facilities.
Review 77:A gracious and spacious B@B, perfectly located, and with perfect hosts. The accommodation was exceptionally quiet, despite being centrally located in Bergerac. Breakfasts were very French and very nice, with a homemade baked item each day, plus cereals, cheeses, croissants, breads, homemade jams, good coffee, etc. Overall, a most enjoyable stay in this lovely B&B.
Review 78:There was nothing to dislike!
Review 79:We were greeted by the owners with such warmth. The hotel is beautiful and a credit to them both. Walking distance to everything! We will definitely be returning. Delicious breakfast too x
Review 80:Pascal & Lauren -the owners, are very genial hosts & hoteliers and nothing was too much trouble. Both had a good sense of humour and a bit of England v France friendly argument ensued especially over no 'Full English ' breakfast available! The English guests will prevail and win this battle! A bacon, eggs & baked beans 'Agincourt' perhaps?
Review 81:There was nothing we didn't like!
Review 82:We loved everything about this property...the bedroom, the lovely breakfasts in the dining room where we had a chance to practise our French with Laurence whilst enjoying her daily home made treats. Excellent wifi.
Review 83:A little information on how to gain access when first arriving would be helpful.
Review 84:Pretty near everything. We were taken into Bergerac by our hostess and she showed us things we would never have noticed. She first of all booked us into a restaurant even though they said they were full. She even gave us a beer when we were settling in. Then she gave us the most interesting places to see in the area.
Review 85:The hosts made us feel very welcome in this lovely house. Great breakfast, comfortable bed, lots of space and an ideal location with free parking, just a few minutes' walk from the old town and a short drive from the airport.

Review 88:Family business in a lovely boutique (hardly) hotel. This property is more a home. Hosts exceedingly helpful with local knowledge.
Review 89:Our ground floor room was a suite with very good facilities and a large double bed. The setting was excellent and the friendly service from the two owners was very welcoming. The breakfast on the terrace was very good. Overall, very good value for money. Highly recommended.
Review 90:Mosquito bites (maybe came in from pool)

Review 92:Central location, parking and swimming pool. Wonderful welcome with Laurence and Pascal into their beautiful home. Very comfortable and exceptional breakfast. We will definitely stay here again.
Review 93:In the centre of Bergerac, this amazing fin de siecle house provides outstanding suite accomodation . The house is very grand but comfortable, with two individual suites on the ground and top floor with the middle floor taken up with a large airy sitting room and breakfast room. However, what. Really makes this place, one of the very best I have ever stayed in, was the personal welcome com the owners and their son. I was met at the airport and transported to my huge suite overlooked the garden and swimming pool. As well as the usual things for breakfast there was a different home made cake every day and yummy home made jams. This amazing house is on the main square and just a five minutes walk from the church which is surrounded by a large vibrant market on Wednesdays and Saturdays. I cannot wait to go back!
Review 94:Pascal and Lorraine were very friendly and accommodating, the breakfast was very nice and the hotel is beautifully decorated. It is also very close to old town Bergerac.
Review 95:Arriving by car, it wasn't immediately obvious where to park or how to access the building - but then the hosts greeted us and looked after everything so no big deal!
Review 96:Old rustic building full of character, very personal and welcoming service from the wonderful hosts. Huge rooms, few guests. Lovely pool and relaxing garden.
Review 97:We enjoyed the welcome we received and the helpfulness, with luggage and also with train advice,to help us get to Tremolat for a lunch meeting with friends.Pascal and Laurence were kind and friendly.
Review 98:We were greeted at this beautifully refurbished & modernised house situated in the heart of Bergerac by host Pascal who runs it along with his wife Laurence and son Arthur. He was very welcoming and helpful and showed us to our rooms which are enormous and have ensuite state of the art bathrooms and little touches to make your stay more comfy like nice toiletries and soft fluffy towels. The house is full of charm and character. Breakfast is charged extra but is excellent with fresh produce & home-made jams and served in a dining room with open terrace overlooking a lovely garden and swimming pool. Sadly we were only able to stay one night, but if you need to stay more, it is well situated to explore Bergerac and surroundings. Pascal recommended a restaurant not far away which was outstanding and took our booking at short notice. HIghly recommend you try this if you are travelling to the area.
Review 99:Not a thing.
Review 100:Everything - Lauren & Pascal, large comfortable rooms & beds, breakfast room & breakfast, garden, peace & quiet, advice & guidance as required.
