Reviews for Domaine de Beaumont
Review 1:Nothing.
Review 2:A lovely place. The owners were lovely, available when needed, discretely absent when not. Very, very helpful. The facilities were excellent. There is internet available in the central areas but not in the accommodation but this was actually very liberating. Recommend it highly.
Review 3:Being really picky, the lack of English tv and radio
Review 4:Peace and quiet, pool, helpful friendly family who own and run the estate
Review 5:Not having wifi in the apartment was frustrating. having the add on costs at the end for linen etc (90 Euros) - is a bit annoying even though it was flagged up.
Review 6:The location was excellent. Lots of lovely villages and restaurants within easy reach. Accomodation was excellent - spacious. Nice swimming pools and tennis courts which children loved.
Review 7:Having to leave.
Review 8:My husband and I visited the Domaine de Beaumont in mid September andenjoyed an utterly relaxing stay – like Maldives level of relaxing, onlywithout the insane cost and horrible jet lag. We were welcomed byBenedicte, who was warm hearted, charming and very helpful during ourvisit. This warmth and charm continued into our gîte which was furnishedin a simple, pretty way with lovely character pieces of furniture ratherthan new, cheap items. The gîte was filled with considerate touches – anadditional upstairs wc as the bathroom was downstairs in ours, a hair-drier and high chair, and a very thoughtful welcome box containingprovisions for breakfast and a bottle of the Domaine’s very excellentwine. Cooking could take place outdoors using the barbeque, or insidewith the kitchen facilities which were fairly basic but perfectlyadequate for cooking up over-sized feasts. The only thing we lacked whencooking was a really sharp knife (a personal must for me!) but this wasremedied by a four euro quick fix from the local Carrefour (thinkSainsbury’s, but better). We were delighted to have a dishwasher, andthere were other useful items such as a coffeemaker, microwave, toasteretc. not to mention generous numbers of plates, glasses and cups. Weabsolutely loved having our own private outside space, which was verywell screened by the gorgeous greenery that filled the Domaine, andwhich contained sun loungers, a table and four chairs, clothes airer andof course the barbeque. The gîtes are set in lovely grounds, plantedwith flowering rosemary, lavender, roses, and some stunning treesincluding figs and olives. We walked around the vineyard and surroundingfields some evenings , enjoying the far reaching views and company ofthe Domaine’s adorable Weimaraner. Even though we went in September, theweather was beautiful and ranged from mid to high twenties (‘c), whichallowed us to enjoy the excellent outdoor pools and get a tan.
