Review 1：Upgraded at no cost. Spacious, well located, friendly, helpful staff. Delightful is every way.
Review 2：1st, I had asked for a double bed on booking but they gave us two single beds without commenting. Pretty sure that the Pension was not completely booked. 2nd, they anounced WiFi in the common rooms but it turned out that the only spot where it was available was rhe reception of HOTEL Felipe (which is the hotel nearby the Pension what we had booked).
Review 3：We could only check in after official check in times, this was no problem and they confirmed in advance where to get the key et cetera.... easy
Review 4：The hotel was very nice located right in the centre of Carboneras (next to the main plaza with the City Hall and the Castle), and just a 5-minute walk to the beach. So, location is superb. The hotel is part of the hotel-chain Felipe. There are 3 hotels in total next to each other and Pension Felipe is one of them. In the hotel next door, there was a 24-hour reception. We asked for a quiet room (the front rooms are noisy in the evenings due to the very crowded cafes in front of the hotel). We were given a quiet room indeed, also clean, tidy and quite cool although the temperatures outside were nearly 40 degrees. So, we even didn’t have to use the AC (which we’ve tried and it was working perfectly). We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Do not miss to have a bite in the café just in front of the hotel – the food is great, not expensive and the café has the craziest (in a good way) waiters literally running between the kitchen and the tables to provide you with a really quick and nice service! Hotel and café-restaurant definitely recommended!
