Reviews for Hotel Le Clos

Review 1:The hotel is located on the main road so easy to find but set away from it so ample parking and no noise. Good breakfast and 5-10 min walk to the centre of town.

Review 2:Not too much room for parking but the hotel is located near the centre of the town if you wish to explore it.

Review 3:A family-run hotel who also provide excellent meals in their restaurant. They are friendly and helpful

Review 4:We had a warm welcome when we arrived we stayed 2nights and had 2evening meals which were excellent the room had a balcony with views over the garden we would be pleased to recommend this hotel we had a very pleasant stay

Review 5:The beds were not comfortable, no air conditioning, noisy neighborhood, sporadic wifi unless you are in the lobby.

Review 6:It was a good price, and within walking distance to the city center and the train/bus station.

Review 7:The bathroom was so small that it was uncomfortable/impossible to sit down with the door closed. The restaurant, like many establishments in France, does not serve on Sunday or Monday. This may be a cultural thing but if you are calling yoursef a hotel and not a motel then facilities should be available 24/7, when open.

Review 8:Off street parking and a short walk from town centre.

Review 9:The bathroom was super small. My husband could not close the door when he went because his knees blocked the door from closing and he is not a large man. We had asked what there was interesting to do in the area and the reception did not give any help. They jut said everything. Luckily we went into town and found an info place who were much more helpful.

Review 10:The location and room was perfect if you're looking just for a place to sleep. They were very nice to stay at the reception past their normal hours for us to arrive at 11pm. There was parking on the premises. The breakfast had tons of jams that were fun to try.

Review 11:Rooms are a little tired although bathrooms are good & newly renovated & bed comfortable. No air conditioning.

Review 12:Helpful, friendly staff even though their English was not good & our French even worse. Lovely town with a medieval centre to explore. Le Clos restaurant was fabulous. The owner is a chef & his confit duck is to die for!!

Review 13:Room adequate for a one night stay(it was the cheapest) but miniscule loo and tiny shower room.

Review 14:Brilliant dinner, one of the tastiest paid for meals in our three week French holiday.

Review 15:The owner was not friendly. The beds were very hard and quite uncomfortable.

Review 16:The location and the meal were good. The wait staff were nice..

Review 17:Dinner in the restaurant was wonderful, one of the best meals we've ever had. Also very good value.

Review 18:Don't go here Sunday or Monday if you want an evening meal. The restaurant is closed and there are no others close. Very poor.

Review 47:Good quiet location set back off main road15 mins walk from old town and shops. Comfy lounge with things to do for all the family, and nice unkempt garden!
