Review 1：good value for money, so the simplicity of furniture, design etc did not bother me.

Review 4：It is good place for staying for one night with low price. It's about 5-10 minutes walking to the city center.
Review 5：Well, it is basic. The night portiere is very helpful, but did not speak a word of English. Narrow hallways, small rooms, narrow double bed and no toilet in the room, just as the room description says.
Review 6：Good, basic accomodation for a night's stay, if the only thing you need is a simple place to spend the night some 15 minutes walk from the central bus station. We got in late and left early the next morning, and had a quiet night's sleep. WLAN worked very well.
Review 7：Street on slope very narrow with cars parked on one side. We were lucky to find a parking spot on the second street to the right, a horizontal street. The old man at reception moves and writes very slowly. The wifi was present, but not very strong. The drawer was very small with practically no place to put your stuff. The window faced the inside of the building. The bathroom was on the hallway.

Review 18：Lovely man greeted me, he was a little slow at responding and checking me in but his charming personality more than made up for it. Very clean everywhere, basic but exactly what I needed. I wouldn't stay for more than a couple of nights but perfect for a one-nighter or short visit.
Review 19：Well we had a problem with biig hottnes in our room. It was like sauna. Throught window there is no fresh air because its wallwindow.

Review 28：Good location, nice staff. Pension has very basic facilities, but it is great value for that money. Beside that, it is very clean. If you need just good, clean place to sleep, and to be active all day day around, but not to spend time in hotel, this is good and very cheap choice. Location is also very good, just few minutes walk from the center and this was also good base for our day trips around northern part of Tenerife.
Review 29：The place is basic, so don't expect anything fancy. No view, and the walls are not the thickest; some sounds of other travellers, especially in the morning. Nothing that bothered us too much though.
Review 30：The place was very clean, both the communal bathroom as our own room. Our room also had it's own wash basin, which was quite nice. Also a very calm neighbourhood, almost no sounds from the street at night.

Review 33：The old man at the reception was unfriendly. He was angry and shouted me in Spanish, because I did not have printed Booking-reservation paper. The name and booking number were not enough... Another, younger guy later at the reception was more neutral. No English spoken. Wifi was unstable.
Review 34：Good location, peaceful surroundings. Very basic and simple, but value for money (17 euros per night). Fully OK place to stay one or two nights for exploring the city.

Review 45：The inner door was closed and I had to wait a while for someone to open it. The noise of other people disturbed my sleep, but I guess that's to do with the consideration of others and not the hostel itself.
Review 46：The single room was a reasonable size (room 105), it had a sink, window, built in wardrobe and great lighting. There was a blanket provided in the wardrobe. I felt safe. I stored my bike in the main reception room, so I was happy that my bike was also safe. There's a shop about 5 mins walk around the corner to buy fruit and water.
Review 47：Shared bathroom and shower might be problem if hotel is full. but they have one in every floor maybe you might wait for somebody else or not. not good for couples i think only "put your bag and go seightseeing" kinda place here it is. No elevator for heavy luggages
Review 48：if you are a solo traveller like me and you don't wanna spend so much money and travell around; here is good ! everywhere is close by walking. the street is quiet. the reception know a little English but we got along. There was a sink inside my single room to wash my face and brush my theet which is good! i checked-out then i left my luggage in the reception. they kept an eye on it for 3 hours and didnt ask for money. that was nice.

Review 94：There is no wifi in the room. The stuff is moody, when I was using wifi in the reception, he always kept an eye on what u r doing. And there isn`t even glasses.

Review 97：At first I thought I had booked into a Guest house but found out that Pension in spanish means Hostel so at first sight I shuddered. It was not what I thought it would be and the entrance to reception was upstairs into what looked quite in need of some TLC. However, it turned out just great due to the cleanliness and modern bedroom we were given with our own en suite bathroom . so never judge a book by its covers. Avoid the chinese on the front just behind the Plaza España , right across from Taxi rank as it was the most tastless and horrible chinese food we have ever had. .
Review 98：Spotlessly clean room, excellent friendly staff, and en suite looked like new bathroom and we had mountain views from our window ( although there was building rubble across the road from our window kind of took the perfect view but that was minor) Our bedroom was cleaned thoroughly every day and we had been more comfortable in that room we had ( 201)than in some three star hotels.. I had a fall and the staff were very considerate and done all they could for me . I liked the free wifi in reception area so could send messages to family and friends. all in all, we only paid 93 euros for the room for three nights and never been more comfortable on our three day trip than ever before when we go away. Its almost central to town and a 10 minute walk to ( el Tren) the train which takes you all the way to La laguna for 1.35 euros . amazing value We will go back to Pension Mova , and never mind looking for fancy hotels that cost the earth. Its pension Mova for us. As long as you indicate you want en suite and not shared bathroom it would be okay for Mature couples who just want a day or two away in Santa cruise cause it is also used by backpackers and people travelling through for one or two nights and they share bathrooms.
Review 99：Small room, old furniture. No kitchen, no microwaves, not even a kettle to boil water. No lift, so you have to climb the stairs to 2,3,4... floor.

Review 102：An absolute steal for the rate charged. Friendly staff. Room was basic but clean and comfortable. Location was great for wandering into town and free parking was easy and always available on Av Francisco La Roche provided you don't mind a 5min uphill walk to the hotel (drop your cases off then park up!).

Review 105：Elderly members of staff appeared to be either unable to speak English or had a modest command of English. Characteristic 'urban style' ruins in front of the pension / hostel. A shared bathroom that desperately needs refurbishment. Bathroom doors are difficult to close, partially made of a large glass sheet that gives little privacy; Toilet next to shower, so one or another cannot be used by different people at one time; Shower head is from 1950's or 60's (most definitely vintage but that does not mean increased performance). + no facilities whatsoever to make hot drinks or any meals (therefore yoy can't dream of any fridge).
Review 106：A pension / hostel is a walkable distance from city centre; located in a quiet but safe little street. Room cleaning service was excellent. Receptionists appeared to be able to speak French, some German and of course Spanish. Neutral comment: Room furniture very basic & reflected (relatively cheap) accommodation costs. Something what you could expect to get for the price paid.
Review 107：We stayed for only one night, wanted to experience an authentic place instead of the english minded south of Tenerife. Indeed nothing to complain about. Simple but what do you expect for this money? The bed and shower were better than a lot of accomodations we've stayed in. Friendly staff, great location in a nice city. Everybody in Santa Cruz seems to be friendly and relaxed.
Review 108：For that money, nothing to complain about. Everything was great. Maybe, if you have rented a car, it would be difficult to park, but we parked the 4 days very close to the pension without wasting any time (luck?).
Review 109：The staff was great, quite helpfull and the reception was open 24/7. The room (twin bed) didn't have a TV nor air conditioning, but it was really clean and in good condition. So clean! In fact beds were made and bathroom was cleaned every day. Wifi worked really fine.
