Review 1：When we turned up at the apartment we were told that it had been rented out to someone else, due to a problem with the booking system used by booking.com. This despite that the flat was fully payed 4 months prior to our arrival. We were directed to another appartment in icod de Vinos.

Review 2：The landlord Stephan tried his best to deal with the situation. We were offered one night (of five) for free. The alternative lodging in Icod de Vinos was quite nice, but the nights were freezing cold also indoors.

Review 3：Description needs updating - no microwave/dishwasher/all year pool despite it saying so. Empty pool wasn't an issue as it was too cold for us but might be for others. Got told it was not possible to connect the dishwasher which didn't seem to exist anyway. Kitchen could do with a few more basic utensils and equipment like a kettle, toaster, chopping board, wooden spoon, grater, mugs. An extra blanket and sheets would have been welcome - we needed to make up the sofa bed. Agent preferred cash but no mention of this on site and although we could pay by card we had to stop by his office in the next town - would have liked to know this in advance. Oven / grill was unusable as it kept tripping the electric.

Review 4：Peaceful location perfect for anyone looking for that. Wouldn't suit young people looking to club and pub as not much within walking distance. Car is essential. Missing microwave was promptly replaced the day after we raised it. We struggled to find this place in the dark from the airport and should have taken the highway which we did on the way back and much easier - don't go the mountain route which looks shorter but actually isn't. We were met on arrival by a pleasant member of staff.
