If you will get a room in 2nd building, will be eating in restaurant in the basement without windows, 1st building have a restaurant with sea view and a terrace. Prices for the room do not differ, so it is a matter of occupancy in the hotel and your personal luck. Variety of food in the 1st building's restaurant is better. Booked Double Room with Sea View, upon check in got Twin Room with side sea view facing building 1. Changed the room straight away to Double in the same 2nd building (the view where not proper sea view, more like a bay view with a part of the building in front). Building 2 is bit further away from the sea, building 1 is at the sea. After trying to get room in building 1 (in which we did not succeed), reception arranged, that further we can eat meals in restaurant of building 1. At least something... Room was not clean (did not get even proper cleaning after reception was informed about it) - bathroom with strains, on the lamp and at the bed some chocolate or ice cream, not really clean floors. On the site it is stated that the check-out is from 10:00 till 12:00, however in the real life reception insists, that you have to check-out till 10:00 otherwise you have to pay additional late check-out fee... The hallways in building 2 are dirty (some work with vacuum cleaner would help).

Transfer companies don't go to the hotel they drop you off and the top of the road so if your flight is unsociable hours might consider alternate transport due to wait being around 20 mins on a very quiet street... Not ideal for elderly or (two girls) like us. We didn't have food booked at the hotel but one night when we were tired we just had dinner there! It was really really limited and rubbish quality! 15 euros for a plate of really bad service station quality food. In Cambrills or salou you could get 3 courses a la carte with bread, water and a drink included including fresh fish and local produce of a fantastic quality for around 15-17 euros! Lady who works in the front desk seems to hate her job...

Review 44：The hotel was in a great location in between la Pineda (home to Acropolis water park) and Salou and cambrils! We walked everywhere in the day and got buses back in the evening. Our room was very clean with new sheets and towels when ever we needed. It was cleaned every day. Our view was incredible we could see further than Cambrills and watched the sunset with the three small bays in our sights. Pool was deep and warm. Over 2 metres, lovely and clean and had sun from 11am to 9pm! Lovely sunbed area in which you could turn and face the horizon. Light and airy staircase and modern decor through out. Really is a fantastic hotel for the price. Perfect for couples. Hardly any children and no large groups of teens... I'd stay here again in a heartbeat. 2 minute walk to gorgeous beach with hardly anyone there after 5. Felt like a private beach!! And there are 3 to choose from! Sea view and a balcony are what make this hotel so good!

Review 45：It took 2 days before they changed the mini fridge in our room. Upon arrival, we informed them that the fridge is not working, but it was not replaced then.

Review 59：I think the Negresco 2 hotel is a lot nicer. It seems to be more updated than the Negresco 1. Negresco 1 staff were not that friendly and the day we were checking out the cleaner came in to the room 4 times! this was really annoying as check out was 12am, and she kept coming in from 9am. Also the air conditioning is very noisey. Another thing to point out is the toilets beside the pool area, they are not what a 4 star hotel should be along with the pool bar, the food was very very basic. They need to update it and then it would be really good.

Food in the morning and in the evening had a great selection but lack of traditional Spanish food: didn't have paella, Serrano ham, coffee from the machine was not tasty, churros and chocolate placed miles away from each other, chorizo ham was not the best quality, better to have smaller choice but more traditional; hotel is located very far from everything, expected to have better and closer beach close to hotel, mostly stones and a bit of sand, you have to take a walk to get to a better beach, too many Russian tourists

Review 86：We went half board and although plentiful, the quality of the food was very poor with reconstituted bacon and cheap cuts of meat making for very disappointing breakfasts & dinner. We ate out and found breakfast at the local service station served more authentic fayre. In consideration of the local produce, which could be sampled in a couple of very local michelin-rated restaurants such as Albatros, we felt quality was sacrifised for quantity, catering for the masses of not very discerning tastes. Some reception staff were rather surly and the hotel decor could do with being updated too.

Review 87：We liked its proximity to the beach and access to the pools. It was well situated with great sea views in pleasant pinewood surroundings. The hotel offered bikes for hire and there is a very pleasant sea walk which takes you into Salou in 30 mins. By car it was 10 mins from world heritage city, Tarragona, with its Roman ruins and busy old town full of bars and restaurants.

Review 92：And now are going to be the bruises and bumps. Air conditioner wasworking in full power only after 22:00 hrs. Signs “Please clean my room”and “Don’t disturb” were put in our room only two days before check outas the result every morning when cleaning lady knocked at our door I wasforced to shout “Mas tarde, porfavor!” (Later, please). Grand piano wasnot locked and some selfish person played outrageous musical exercisesevery day sometime very late evening around midnight. Insulation of thewalls was very weak so we were doomed to listen that cacophony.

Review 93：We stayed at that hotel for sixteen days from July 21 through August 5,2013. Generally we satisfied but let me express my opinion step by step.Now are going to be the pies and doughnuts. Location of that hotel isexcellent. It stands at the sea shore near the beaches and were usuallyspent less than five minutes to get the nearest beach. Personnel at thereception desk spoke fluent English and Russian, was very helpful andfriendly. Room itself could be bigger for that category of hotels.Bathroom was equipped with the bathtub and bidet. Food in the restaurantwas plentiful, diverse and quite delicious.

Review 106：We stayed at the hotel from the 6th to the 12th of Oct 2012. Great location on the sea front. We stayed in a sea view room on the 4th floor with a panoramic view of the coast. The sunsets were brilliant. The hotel was nice and quiet. The staff were very helpful towards us. Perfect place to stay if you are looking for a relaxing get away. Several beaches just a very short walk away, calm sea, clear warm water. A coastal path with some great views takes you all the way into Salou, about a 20 to 30 minute walk. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would not hesitate to book it again for the same time of year.

Every buildinghas its own restaurant, there is no connection between buildings,it's impossible to call from the room of one building to the room insecond building. We were 4 families: two families were accomodatedin one building and another two in second building and it wasdifficult to coordinate the whole group. There is no informationabout it on the internet site and there is o option to book all roomin the same building. Kids: almost zero animation, only mini-disco,kids room is open but kids play there with parents. Food: not badbut no much variosity, a lot of oily food and there is nothing forlittle kids No beach towels available. In total: this is not a 4starts hotel but 3+ maximum
