Reviews for Acropolis Hotel Paris Boulogne

Review 1:Advertised Internet access but none in the room. This was a key flaw. Also, the room was not cleaned after the first night. The last piece of which I am most disappointed is that the people at the front desk advised me that it was a two star hotel when I asked them about the Internet access and if I could change rooms. Seemed as if it was fault. Not a business hotel.

Review 2:Wifi is very unstable and is hardly usable. The room is decorated in a simple and plain style, which feels a bit depressing. There is no sound-proof between rooms and phone calls in next room can be heard.

Review 3:Availability and location.

Review 4:Nothing

Review 5:Very clean and new hotel. Paris small, but pleasent rooms with comfortable beds. Extremly kind receptionists (all of them), who patiently gave us a lot of usefull information about Paris, transport, usefull maps. We came for RG and they were organized to give us information about it too. WiFi was good. Breakfast is decent, qute and clean restaurant. We've stayed for 6 nights and felt like at home. Thanks Acropolis.

Review 6:Room was a little hot without AC. Shower was small. They force you to hand of the key before leaving the hotel.

Review 7:Very clean, friendly, nice rooms. Breakfast was fresh and tasty. I would stay again

Review 8:Hotel was recently renovated and very clean. They gave me room with windows towards courtyard as I requested. Restaurant with decent food and quick service just next to the hotel building.

Review 9:Shower small.

Review 10:Extremely clean. Friendly staff. Room and fittings really good condition. Breakfast great value for money. Easy to walk to Roland Garros and Metro.

Review 11:Lift was small and very slow. I got a bit confused with their "eco friendly" policy in relation to towels. There was a sign saying if I left the towel on the rack, it means I want to reuse it. I did that, but got a fresh towel every day anyway!

Review 12:The location was brilliant for tennis fans. 15-20min walk to Roland Garros, and only 6 mins walk from Marcel Sembat Metro. Reception staff very friendly and spoke fluent English.

Review 13:However, wifi was limited on 5th floor and breakfast was a little bland. Plus, it would have been nice to have somewhere to put our clothes

Review 14:very good presentation of building, helpfuly staff and easy access to metro station, We really enjoyed our staff. Great value for money.

Review 15:Breakfast choice limited but ok.

Review 16:Very clean, modern, recently refurbed hotel. Comfortable compact rooms. Ideal for a short business trip. Wifi worked perfect. Close to a good selection of bars & restaurants. Helpful receptionists.

Review 17:The staff were very helpful, the rooms were small but well designed and very clean, breakfast had a reasonable continental choice. Would happily go back!

Review 18:where to start??hard bed, room was as big as a pigeon coop. that wasn't the real problem as you get what you pay for. the problem was the scorching heat in the room and no means for making the room cooler. we asked the reception for a fan but they did not have any, recommending that we keep the windows open. we did, and we ended up being invaded by tiger mosquitoes. i woke up swatting mosquitoes at 5am as we both looked like we encountered chicken pox by the time the insects were done with us. ended up checking out after one night (had to pay total). only positives i can say are the front desk's help with directions and close proximity to the stadium. but surely more cons than pros

Review 19:not much

Review 20:Street side room is bit noisy.

Review 21:Friendly host, renovated and clean room and tasty breakfest.

Review 22:Without air conditionning, you need to have the window open on hot summer night. With a major road nearby this is very noisy.

Review 23:recently refurbished

Review 24:Very clean and well located. Staff were very nice and helpful too.

Review 25:Comfortable beds and good en suites. Breakfast very reasonable for quality.

Review 26:It is very conveniently placed between 2 metro stations. Staff are very polite and efficient. It is very ckean.

Review 27:This hotel is very suitable for a trip to see football / rugby otherwise its a bit far out for a Paris tourist trip :-)

Review 28:clean,modern,everything is new, staff very helpful

Review 29:no bad comments at all.

Review 30:The room was small but had everything we needed. Very clean bathroom. Everything was brand new.

Review 31:overpriced this time

Review 32:location, area, metro nearby

Review 33:being charged for breakfast which we didn't have at all.

Review 34:excellent access to metro/RER,restaurant,supermarket

Review 35:No air condition in rooms.

Review 36:the location and me and my friend were yelled at by the receptionist. It was the rudest thing I have ever experienced and will never tell anyone to ever stay here. He claimed we had not paid for our stay in full even after we had proved we had when we checked in. We showed proof with receipts and he continued yelling at us. He even punched his computer and we were scared he would harm us. We paid again and will be calling for a refund. It was the most insane experience I had ever had and ruined my experience.

Review 37:the hotel was really nice

Review 38:It had been a hot, humid day, and the room was very close with no fan and no option to get some air in it. My room was on the 1st floor, and there was a balcony, so I did not want to open the window overnight. I had a cough, which didn't help, and tossed and turned for hours. The only other thing which could have been improved was the breakfast, which was a bit minimalist for 9 euros.

Review 39:The staff were lovely and very helpful. The room, while tiny, was pleasant and clean -- minimalist! The en-suite was just the right size and spotless. The location worked well for the meeting I had come to Paris to attend. I would only stay there to come to this particular part of town.

Review 40:Please refer to what I liked, and to my generally favorable rating above.

Review 41:PROS Almost everyone who worked at the hotel went out of their way to make my stay a very positive and enjoyable experience, but that was TOTALLY UNDONE by the night clerk who didn't speak English well enough to check me out so that I could catch an early train, told me that I couldn't even have a cup of coffee before I left because "breakfast at 7.00" (and kept repeating the same phrase as though it was the only English phrase he knew), refused to even try to understand my request to bill the charges to the same credit card that was used to make the reservation, threatened to call the police because he couldn't understand what I was asking him to do, delayed me for 20 minutes, and would have kept me there even longer if I hadn't gotten my out my phone and recorded his obnoxious and recalcitrant behavior, left the lobby and started packing his car with the bed roll that he was apparently using to snooze on during the night, and then finally said he would charge the two night stay to the credit card that was used to make the reservation as I requested (something that every other hotel I've ever stayed at offers to do automatically.

Review 42:We reserved the hotel for 4 days and decided to check out on the second day as we did not like the room condition. We were asked to pay compensation for early checkout. After some heated argument, they reduced the rate of second room to get us to stay.

Review 43:The staff were part timers but some of them were friendly (as what you expect from any well run hotel).

Review 44:Good breakfast

Review 45:no space to hang your clothes. room very small.

Review 46:The hotel had been newly refurbished and a lot of thought has gone into making the best use of space in the rooms

Review 47:Reception staff spoke good english. Room was cleaned nicely each day. Short walk to the metro.
