Review 3：The hostal is noisy - both internally (the only soundproofing seemed to be the carpet on the stairs from the reception area) and externally (it is not double glazed so you can hear traffic noise and people shouting outside etc). The room was incredibly hot and would be unbearable in the height of the summer.

Review 4：The hostal is very handy for the train station. We stayed there because car parking is free. If you visit Jaen without a car then other hotels would probably be better places to stay. The breakfast was good. The reception staff were very friendly. It is not bad value for the price as the room and bathroom were a reasonable size. People of all ages were staying there.

Review 5：The hotel actually forms part of the station buildings so is perfectly located if arriving by train. An associated bar across the car park serves breakfast from 06.00 and also delicious, excellent value home cooked meals through until just before midnight. The room was clean, there was hot water and the staff were very welcoming - overall excellent value for money.

Review 14：I think the price is fair in accordance with the services, but Jaén is a very small town and has 4-star hotels for just a litle more. This would be an amazing deal for a bigger town with a more expensive offer of hotels, but being in Jaén the value for money stays in the 'fair' range. That said, I would totally stay here again!

Review 15：Great place, good for a good night's sleep even when our room was literally on top of the rail tracks -it is really well insulated. The staff was extra nice and the room and common areas are clean and nice. Beds and pillows extra comfortable!

Review 44：On my first visit I had a super bathroom with a nice bath so booked again but on my return visit I only had a small shower. My second room was over the lit up neon sign and canopy which kept me awake most of the night....

Review 46：It is located a bit far from the old town, but perfectly located for train travel. The room was a bit cold in the beginning and a bit difficult to understand the heater but after help from the staff it became quite warm ( it was very cold outside )

Review 47：This nice place is on the railway station, perfect if you want to catch a train. I had a nice view of the trains and the station with double glazing so very little noise. The Hostal Estacion looks new and fresh and feels more like a hotel than a hostal. And a real shower with glass door, not the usual curtain in a bathtub-shower...

Review 48：The included breakfast in the station restaurant (from 06:00) is very simple: only 1 coffee, 1 large roll, 2 butter, 1 marmalade, oil/tomato. Any more you have to pay. So the price is too expensive.
