Review 1：Bad internet. NO tea/coffee. room service ends at 9.30. Food cold and UNCOVERED. shower curtain too short so floor got soaked.. poor wash basin (too shallow) glass bathroom doors- give no privacy . Steps or steep ramp are only option up to reception

Review 5：The rain shower in our bath room not only showered us but also the roof, making the whole bathroom wet. When complaining on day 1 at the reception my husband got the question really? Yes really, we don't complain if things works. As we where out on day 2 we assumed if was fixed, and as we used the shower in the spa, we discovered on the last day that it was not the case as the whole bathroom went wet again. When complaining at check out it was clear that the first complaint had not been registered as the receptionist asked if we had been able to shower at all. We also had 1 dinner and that was enough. The menu looked good for a good price. But the service & food was not good. When the entre was served we still have had nothing to drink although this was ordered at he same time as the food. When asking for it ,the water came, asking again where is the wine oh yes the wine! it finally came, by then my toast for the foie gras was cold. Lamb was fatty, tasteless and on the edge raw.The rice was not warm and clearly had been heated in microwave as it hard and yellow. I sent it back and had fries instead. Our impression was that the standard of the rooms are for sure 4 star, but looking in the spa, loose tiles, broken handle for the shower ,cross bike in the gym was broken the whole time, the corridors looked worn down, this added to the lack of service it was for us for sure not 4 star worthy and for sure not for euro 125.

Review 11：The bistro was awful as all looked great on arrival we decided to eat at the hotel but the service was so slow we waited for over 20 mins to get the drinks we ordered and the food was disgusting my husband had a burger which had no taste and all the bun was soggy and i had the steak which I sent back and did not pay for as it was full of fat and I could not chew and swallow it.

Review 39：We decided to bring a bottle of rum with us, as drink prices were expensive €8 for 40ml,trying to get decent sized classes and ice was nigh on impossible. Location wise for travelling to the D-day landing beaches, expect at least a 2 hour drive.

Review 43：the ignorant staff in the casino who for some reason lied to us about the min amount of bet on the roulette table as being 40 euros when it stated quite clearly it was 2 euros at the table and in the hotel info pack in the room!! I would not use this hotel again.

Review 45：The staff were not very helpful at all and didn't resolve any of the issues we encountered. The rooms are OK, paper thin walls so you here allot from other rooms. We are non-smokers and the hotel is officially non-smoking but the rooms absolutley stink of stale smoke to point where it is unbearable, we requested to change rooms, but hotel wouldn't allow us and told us we were wrong in saying it stank of disgusting smoke. They then sent a chambermaid to fumigate the room, when talking with the chambermaid she confirmed that everyone smokes in the rooms, it is just the way it is!, so if like us you dont like smoke or even worse stale smoke, avoid this hotel and its rude staff.

Review 55：The photo of the room in the Discovery Pass section of Booking.com's site showed a large room with a seating area, but that was not what was actually included in the package, so we were disappointed with the modest-sized room we were given. The design of the bathroom was more about style than function, so the sink sprayed water over the user and the shower screen was not wide enough to prevent water from the shower soaking the floor. The bar area is very uninviting.
