Reviews for Hôtel Villa Sorel
Review 1:We were a few minutes late packing up to leave and got a knock on the door telling us we needed to check out which I thought was a little unnecessary as it was literally a few minutes. The bathroom is getting a little tired and could do with a spruce up but it served its purpose.
Review 2:For Paris this was a good sized twin room in a quiet location and close to where we needed to be and at a good price. Shops and metro nearby. There is a lovely little tea room here which I didn't take advantage of but my friend had a very nice breakfast in the courtyard at the back.
Review 3:Not much we didn't like. The room was small but adequate for our needs.
Review 4:The staff were wonderful. Incredibly helpful with information about the local area and travel. The room was exactly what we needed.
Review 5:The only thing I didn't like was not having air conditioning. It wasn't that bad, but later in summer months might get to warm. Perhaps they offer fans, but I didn't ask.
Review 6:I liked the attention and service.
Review 7:Wifi was disconnected depending on the time, place in the room. It was often insufficient for business use.
Review 8:Good location, kind staffs and reasonable fee.
Review 9:Breakfast is not included but is available.
Review 10:This is a quaint little hotel, decorated well and run by friendly staff. The bed was comfortable. Plenty of shops around.
Review 11:I don't know how to make crepes
Review 12:The staff were amazingly helpful and nice. The rooms were lovely. The location was close to many forms of public transport for viewing different parts of the city.
Review 13:The hotel was clean, tastefully furnished, comfy and quiet, much better than anywhere for the same price in London. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and in fact helped us make the most of our short stay in Paris. 5 stars ☺
Review 14:The breakfast that is served, may be slightly "light" to my taste, on the other hand it is probably a standard breakfestcompared to breakfast served in hotels in Paris area. Perhaps you could serve a slice or two of dark rye-bread, German style. Anyway I didn´t starve after breakfast.
Review 15:Nice, helpful and friendly staff.
Review 16:Small and noisy room (in the family room next to me, a baby was crying (for 2 consecutive hours !!) and it sounded like he/she was in my room). Small bathroom. No airco. No soap dispenser (just little squeeze bags with shower gel). Breakfast very expensive (9.5 Euro) for two mini pastries and a piece of bread. One morning there was a friendly gentleman at the reception, but the staff in the evening was not very friendly. Small desk (about 0.5 - 1 m2). Television that could not be turned so you had to watch it standing up in front of it. Nearly 100 Euros a night (incl. breakfast).
Review 17:Free and fast WiFi. Shower curtain.
Review 18:Staff were very helpful. Rooms were pleasant and clean. The hotel is quite close to Metro line 9 which made it easy to get to everywhere although it is a bit far away from the centre.
Review 19:The personels were kind, warm and helpful.
Review 20:Too small room. No ventilation in the bath room!!
Review 21:Location and very helpful staff!
Review 22:Mouldy smell; old amenities; noisy rooms.
Review 23:The last available hotel in this area. Good location with lots of shops and restraunts nearby.

Review 36:Not much, just if you are not very familiar with old elevator. Walk with the stairs..
Review 37:Staff were polite, very friendly. Wi-fi was fast enough. Bed was super comfortable. Room was clean. what else can you have in the hotel? Oh plus it's 1 minute walk from Metro station Marcel Sembat, line 9. it was pretty convenient to go to central paris.
Review 38:Would have preferred a duvet on the bed. In January, even with 2 blankets I was a little cold at night.
Review 39:Charming place with pretty garden room. Very good breakfast. Relaxing ambiance.
Review 40:The staff were welcoming, friendly and very customer focused. The hotel is located in a quiet residential area very close to public transport (metro and buses). We found it a very well priced, clean and comfortable. One of the best two star hotels I have stayed in. We will certainly stay there again when in Paris. Good shops in the neighborhood and very close to Paris Saint Germain football stadium.
Review 41:They hotel doesn't have staff during weekends at night. So the door is locked. I have received the code for the entrance door by e-mail before my stay.
Review 42:It's a two stars, so it wouln'td be fair to say that they could changethe carpet.
Review 43:As the room on the 5th level was, to me, noisy, they suggest us anotherroom, more comfortable, only surcharged 5€. Cosy lobby and greatbreakfast at this rate.
Review 44:Great location (easy to find, close to metro station), friendly staff.
Review 45:Since usuallly we don't have a big breakfast we loved the possibility to have (for 3 euro) a café au lait and a croissant in the hotel.
