Reviews for Infanta Cristina
Review 1:Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for dinner but the bar/cafe food was acceptable. Breakfast excellent
Review 2:The central location and amazing olive groves everywhere!
Review 3:First room the tv connection was broken off the tv, shifted to a room with a much smaller bed and no balcony. Then found a face towel that was filthy dirty in the bathroom. Disgraceful
Review 4:The waiter in the bar gave excellent service
Review 5:No outlet for the computer at the desk. I was happy that I had a long cable to connect me in the bathroom. All room doors are facing to the atrium with the reception, café, lobby etc. and sometimes there is noice like at the Madrid Airport (a second door would have been good). Rooms are not noice isolated - I could hear every word of a phone call made by my neighbour.
Review 6:Breakfast menu for 11E is recomendable. Rooms are small, but nice and well equipped. Good illumination.
Review 7:shower button didn't work so was not able to shower and had to use the bath only. Timewise this was inconvenient and could have been checked.
Review 8:Very welcoming and helpful staff. Clean, lovely room and facilities. Access to the garage parking was very convenient and secure.
Review 9:No iron available to press a shirt (you have to pay to us the hotel laundry) Location is a long walk from the centre of town.
Review 10:Large rooms, clean, helpful staff
Review 11:The room i booked has a very bad smell coming out of the toilet The wifi is very slow The rooms are not isolated. I can her the person in the next room
Review 12:The reciptionists are very nice & helpful
Review 13:Nos gustó todo en general.
Review 14:The pool needs a bit of maintenance.
Review 15:The rooms, the decor and the staff are excellent.
Review 16:Sunday everything closed not hotel fault
Review 17:Hotel beautiful, 4 star, staff helpful.
Review 18:We appreciated comfort.
Review 19:Apperance of Hotel --Warm & friendly
Review 20:Quite antiquated. Horrendous smell from bathroom (and it seems it's common to more than one room).
Review 21:Following the signals for the parking lot only got me lost. Parked on a public parking instead.
Review 22:Location. Clean and comfortable.
Review 23:The location is not "downtown" but a little outside in an area of rather uninviting neighborhood of apartment blocks, including across a busy four lane road and railroad tracks. On the plus side, it is easy to get to by car. Interior decor is from the 60s, plenty of plush and flower patterns. breakfast service was rudely unresponsive, lackluster.
Review 24:Clean, well appointed bedroom (albeit smallish) and excellent bathroom. Reception speaks English and was very friendly.
Review 25:People making a noise in the lobby after midnight and no member of staff did anything. But OK, we are in Andalusia!
Review 26:Comfortable room and quite spacious.
Review 27:Hairdryer had broken hose. Couldn't find UK TV stations. Overbath shower not height adjustable.
Review 28:Comfy bed, sheets changed daily. Good breakfast. Good air con. Lovely corner bath. All very clean.
Review 29:Distance from center of city, infrequent arrival of scheduled buses giving access to center of city, small choice of restaurants in the surrounding barrio
Review 30:Reasobable cost of accommodations, quietness
Review 31:No restaurant at night when we arrived, only a cafeteria. The sald from the room service was more a canned, glass composition than a gourmet salad.
Review 32:The size of the bedroom, the cosiness, the spa bathtub. The room service was good but food only fair.
Review 33:The staff was the friendliest that we have encountered in Spain, not just nice, they were genuine. The hotel it at a great location right down the hill from the Cathedral and other main attractions.
Review 34:If you do not have a GPS, how can you find the hotel when you enter the town from the other end ? There are yellow signposts - but generally, you cannot read them, they are behind trees/bushes - and long before the hotel there is none. Then, better take a taxi to the center of town to find the restaurants...
Review 35:Everything was OK... but the situation of the hotel away from the center of town...
Review 36:Very little. Could find nothing negative to say about the hotel. Try to learn some Spanish!
Review 37:A quite luxurious hotel, spacious with good facilities. The room was large, clean, comfortable, quiet and relaxing. The ground floor lobby has two lounge-like seating areas to relax, read or meet friends. The hotel has a small but clean pool on a first floor terrace with loungers and tables. The restaurant seemed to be closed during our stay presumably as not enough people were booked to say, but there was a bar/cafe within the ground floor lobby that sold meals. The staff were not particularly friendly or helpful at the time of our stay, but as we do not speak much Spanish this may be an unfair judgement. The town centre is about 15-20 minutes walk (uphill on the main road) or there are buses and taxis are not expensive. The tram lines are built but no trams run due to economic problems.
Review 38:Some minor maintenance issues like loose light fittings above the bed, and loose towel rail next to the bidet.
Review 39:I liked the general ambience, the style of the hotel, it was comfortable, our room was spacious and the bed comfortable, the terrace swimming pool was wonderful and the staff were friendly.
Review 40:Not particularly clean, dirt in the bath and the comb came packaged with a few free hairs. Conveniently located if you want to visit an industrial estate or the middle of nowhere.
Review 41:Swimming pool. Comfortable bed. Good Wi-Fi. Jaen is nice for tapas and feels nicely off the tourist route.
Review 42:The breakfast was unimaginative and I had to ask for coffee every time rather than be given a pot of it.
Review 43:The hotel has a spendid and grand design with very friendly staff
Review 44:We didn't realise how far the hotel was from the cathedral area - this is where most tourists visit - although there were plenty of shops on our walk up to the centre!
Review 45:This was an excellent hotel - with very friendly staff, lovely food and very comfortable rooms.
Review 46:Price, for a low season, was a bit high.
Review 47:Really comfy and clean, roomy.
Review 48:Some of the Staff's attitude, we seemed to be a nuisance
Review 49:Friendliness of owner
Review 50:Staff was very nice. The room was great and the location is good when you intend to go to the center by car
Review 51:all good
Review 52:nice hotel easy to find lots of safe free parking around not in the centre but near the railway station where the bars and restaurants are
Review 53:easy access from road network and close to city centre
Review 54:Nothing
Review 55:Location, Location, Location
Review 56:Lack of pressure on cold making showering a hot challenge
Review 57:Overall greta hotel, excellent value for money.
Review 58:Le wifi connection is not very good - it is slow and sometimesinterrupted
Review 59:The noise at nights
Review 60:The general atmosphere and being in the centre of the town
