Review 1：The staff are amazing! Pall and Marian (I hope I'm spelling their names right) we're so helpful and went above and beyond with local information for us. Really nice breakfast too.
Review 2：Room had a bit of a stale smell in the bathroom when I first entered but this was probably because no one had used the room for a few days due to it being low season. The musty smell was gone after I aired the room a bit, so this was not a major issue.
Review 3：I found the reception staff and the hotel manager very helpful and friendly. They provided good advice on how and where to obtain a SIM Card for data roaming for my phone as there was no data roaming agreement between my home country service provider and Foroyar Telecom. The hotel also helped to facilitate my car hire for my trip and I found this very helpful and fuss free. They secured for me a very good car (Audi A3 sedan) at what I thought was a reasonable rate. In addition, when I was attempting to find a good dinner location, the receptionist gladly walked with me to the restaurant booking location at the Torshavn Hotel (which coordinates restaurant bookings for a few establishments) and arranged by restaurant booking for me herself. As this was during a very chilly evening, I was quite appreciative. The same receptionist also recommended a very good gym in another part of town which I found to be an excellent choice. While the hotel is fairly 'basic' in terms of facilities, (no gym etc), I found that the good service and their friendliness and warmth more than made up for this. The room and premises were also very clean and well maintained and the location in the middle of town was much appreciated, especially the supermarket next door.

Review 5：Great views and balcony windows. Superbly comfortable beds. Great dining room for informal breakfast. Quiet and relaxing. Right next to a small supermarket so very convenient.
Review 6：Breakfast was very basic. Other reviews complain about the breakfast/reception in different buildings. In our opinion just a minimal inconvenience (if I had not read these reviews I would probably already forgot about it)
Review 7：Good location, room was not big and quite simple, but clean and comfortable. Recently renovated. We had a double room in the 3rd floor facing the street, nice views. Bathroom was spotless clean and functional (shower only).
Review 8：The room was on the small side. It is fine for a 1-2 night stay, but would not recommend it for longer stays. While the hotel building is relatively new, it does not have a reception (need to go to guesthouse). The overall experience is in between a hotel and a guesthouse.

Review 10：Check-in was complicated. It's connected to the neighboring hostel, and we had to call and wait 15 minutes to get someone to come to the front desk. Parking also wasn't ideal.

Review 12：Every thing was new and clean. Great room with balcony and view of harbor. Excellent location to town with food market next door. Owners were wonderful and made a great suggestion to drive to Saksun. Would stay here again.
Review 13：The owner (Páll) was extremely helpful and friendly. The location could not be better, as Hotel Havn is steps from the harbour and from the bus terminal (buses are free in Torshavn ). Also the grocery store next door is open all evening

Review 16：When we requested an earlier than usual breakfast as our flight was early, we found the manager to be very dismissive and unhelpful. We totally understood that the answer could have been a no, but we didn't appreciate the rudeness. We really didn't like the way there is no reception in the hotel. We found it confusing to check in at the hostel next door. There were arrows directing us but when we found the hostel reception, there was nobody there. We had to phone somebody and wait about 20 mins. This is not ideal when you have just finished a long journey.
Review 17：Great location, modern hotel rooms, very quiet and peaceful. Great to be able to use the hostel kitchen for making tea.
Review 18：Only cold water in the shower in the evening & also the next morning. Staff was super friendly & we might have been the first people ever in our room. Everything was so clean & the view was fantastic & the breakfast was much better than it appeard at first sight.
Review 19：A few minor things were missing, but since the hotel had just been opened for service, I'm sure this was just a temporary issue.
Review 20：The hotel is located right in the middle of Tórshavn, five minutes from the harbor and is therefore very easily accessible. A basic, Nordic-style breakfast is included, but should that not be enough there are two supermarkets located in the vicinity. Oh, and the view! This is perhaps the best about it all... :)

Review 26：This is a modern new hotel in down town area. Supermarket next door. Friendly staff, average breakfast, large airy rooms with modern en suite.
Review 27：Room is not cleaned everyday so it was a surprise when we came back at the end of the day to find our room not made up and cleaned. We don't mind that but it would have been nice for the hotel to let us know in advance.
