Reviews for La Casa de la Abuela
Review 1:We stayed during a heatwave, and the a/c - despite ownerManolo's hard work on it - was not really up to the job of keepingthe place cool
Review 2:The apartment is superbly located right next to one of Cazorla'smain squares, but the bedroom is at the back, and you don't hearanything - unless you have noisy neighbours, which we did at the end. There are loads of good restaurants and tapas places nearby.
Review 3:If you have a big car - the narrow streets are difficult to manoevre.
Review 4:The location - in a main tourist plaza by the old church and castle ruins. Manolo (the owner) was very helpful and very kind - he gave us a gift of a bottle of wine and pate on arrival. There are not many English speaking locations in the town and we got to speak and listen to a lot of Spanish.
Review 5:Most uncomfortable bed I had. Both my boyfriend and I couldn't sleep. (I normally don't mind a rubbish bed, but it was the combination of too cold and uncomfortable made me hardly sleep) It was too cold for me. Radiator doesn't work properly. Was a bit difficult to arrange the check-in and check-out, I had to text them for it. I was worried I couldn't check out. The staff don't speak English at all.
Review 6:The fireplace and characters of the flat.
Review 7:The location, the value, the accommodations, all perfect. Manolo, our host, was absolutely fantastic. He had answers to all questions and took care of our every need. Great to be at the foot of the castle, on the oldest plaza in town, and near fantastic hiking trails.
Review 8:no teapot in the kitchen, weak wifi connection on the 2nd floor
Review 9:the view from the terrace, the athmosphere, facilities, friendly and welcoming owner, good value for money
