Review 2：The hotel is in a great location and was very clean and comfortable. Special mention must go to the young lady at reception, she was very welcoming and helpful. Would recommend Hotel Rodrigo to all who plan to stay in Palencia.

Review 11：This hotel was in a good location being a 3 minute walk to the cathedral or the river and less than a 10 minute walk to Calle Mayor. This was a quiet hotel with a good continental breakfast. Palencia was not a busy tourist town and felt more like the 'real' Spain, which we enjoyed.

Review 18：My room lacked a telephone, and since I was having issues tracking a lost suitcase, I had to continually go to the front desk to borrow a phone. While they were very nice about it, it was an inconvenience. Also, there is only pump soap in the bathroom and no other toiletries.

Review 21：Well located easy to find and they provide a good tourist map when you arrive, it is a very easy town to explore from the hotel.. The room was well set up and very clean. We had issues getting the wifi code the first lady we asked told us it was on the TV so we spent ages trying to find it and gave up then we asked another lady and we were given a slip of paper (may be the first lady was confused about what we wanted)

Review 28：After reading a lot of negative reviews I looked at lots of other places but still chose Don Rodrigo for location, price and parking. We had no trouble and found the staff friendly and helpful. We knew only a tiny bit of Spanish and they know only a little English but this wasn't a problem. We booked to include breakfast and there was coffee (hot choc for kids), juice, cereal, toast, croissants, yoghurt & fresh fruit to select from. The room was comfortable and cosy with underfloor heating! The WiFi was okay and the beds comfy. Lovely big bathroom too. Parking is tight as mentioned by many reviewers but it's ok for sensible small cars, I wouldn't recommend it for a big car or 4WD. Palencia was lovely - very friendly people.
Review 29：There is no view and the part of Palencia is not the most beautiful one but this doesn't really matter when you mainly want to visit the town. Breakfast is a bit poor but also very cheap, we added some own stuff, which the owners kept in the fridge for us.
