Reviews for Résidence La Frégate
Review 1:Quite a bit unfortunately....The location was pretty seedy. The entrance (and the place we were told to park) was on a deserted street that backed onto a railway line and looked rather unsafe e.g. broken glass - never a good sign. There was no available off-street parking (i.e. the listing was misleading), we parked in the adjacent McDonalds - which seemed the safest place given the 24-hour throughput. The room was VERY smelly from cigarette smoke. The cooking equipment was dirty, and we had to wash it all before we could use it. The staff at check in was off-hand.
Review 2:Convenient location for an overnighter before the cross-channel ferry. The kitchen was well equipped (2 electric hot plates, microwave, enough equipment to make a meal. Comfortable bed. Reasonable value.
Review 3:The closet had bad smell. it was actually not only a closet, but also a space for heating system of water. it was warm, humid and smelly. the only negative thing of this hotel.
Review 4:Kitchen with dishes, microwave and fridge. Comfortable Bed. Free parking close to Hotel. Very good location. perfect shower.
Review 5:Doors were thin and at a few points in the night it seemed like people were trying to enter the room, even after midnight, which was unexpected for a small seaside city, and a little worrying! But perhaps not the fault of the hotel.
Review 6:The room was clean, comfortable and well-lit, although overlooking the train tracks and station. Not at all a far walk to Le Havre centre and the beach (20 mins max). Parking was easy to find and free of charge. Staff were efficient, 24 hour reception was useful!
Review 7:the room was clean and tidy the staff were very pleasant and friendly, I would stay there again.

Review 21:The window was right above the MacDonalds parking place - there was a lot of noise and disguising smell coming from cars and food
Review 22:There was a small kitchen in the room
Review 23:Not much kitchen equipment, such as cups, utensils etc.
Review 24:Nice clean apartment with kitchen, great if you don't want to eat out.Good location close to the Docks shopping Centre.
Review 25:The room was small not quite clean. The water bowl was not working, poorly repaired with a piece of plastic. We had to fix it by simplytaking the cover away.
Review 26:The location was good closed to the shopping center
Review 27:The place is not well signposted from the Railway/Bus Station for visitors without a car. The description on Booking.com could say it is 300m E. from the Gare Routiere, along the road adjacent to the railway line. (Rue Charles Laffitte)
Review 28:Freedom to use the small included kitchen.
Review 29:I have no complaints - staff, room, comfort were all great and I had a cat travelling, so pet friendly too.
Review 30:The room was spacious and had a kitchenette. Good restaurants at the mall across the street and a McDonalds next door for free wi-fi. Liked the hotel and the location from the port.
Review 31:I couldn't access the wifi. The explanation given in the next morning was not suficcient. I couldn't call the reception hotel from the phone in the room. It should be a list in each room how to access wifi and also some important phome numbers (reception, emergency, etc)
Review 32:The wifi didn't work, which was a huge disappointment for me.
Review 33:The room was super comfortable and had a kitchenette. I loved everything about it except for the fact that the wifi didn't work.
