Review 1：Standard room are small and a bit old style and no safe box in the room

Review 4：The location is just fantastic, and the staff really friendly and helpful. We had a balcony with views of the Citadel and the harbour- it was hard to drag ourselves away at night to sleep. Beautiful, beautiful place , and the best location going.

Review 5：Noise from club (open DJ boos) in front of the hotel across the port until 2 am. Parking space is very narrow.

Review 7：Although the lobby is renovated and clean, the rooms are not. They are dated and a bit dirty. Old carpet flooring, mediocre linens, stains on the bathroom grout, etc. We also received a number of bug bites at night. Although we don't think they were bed bugs (we checked- the mattress looked very clean), it's hard to pay $200 a night for a room that your not completely comfortable in. If they updated the rooms, the price would be worth it. They have wifi, but it was so slow we couldn't use it for even basic functions like making a flight reservation. As it currently stands, I'd probably look for other options next time.

Review 8：Location is excellent. Right on the harbor, and a short walk to old town. People complain about the noise, but with the windows closed you can hardly hear it. Not a real problem. The staff were great, and spoke enough English to communicate with.

Review 9：Our room was fab, split over three levels with the entrance from the ground level in the village. We loved our time at La Chevre D'Or, experiencing the different hotel restaurants, the views from the pool are insane! Infact the views from many spots including our balcony and around the grounds in general are breathtaking. Its a unique and beautiful location.

Review 12：Didn't like the lack of towels at the swimming pool but it was a simple matter to take them from the room. The maid always had more on offer.

Review 13：The hotel is excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful. However, the location is the outstanding feature of this hotel. The view from our junior sweet would be hard to beat anywhere in the Mediterranean. We found it hard to leave our balcony.

We felt the bread, a small baguette, looked like it came straight from a supermarket, rather than freshly baked that morning from the local boulangerie. We found much better breakfast at a more reasonable cost at a number of quay side restaurants.

Review 17：Location, Location, Location This hotel, situated on the Nouvelle Marine, offers what must be one of the best locations in Bonifacio. The room we had was not overly large but was clean, comfortable, but oh the location. Looking out over the marina, with all the variety of pleasure craft, across to the restaurants on the opposite side and fortified walls of the old town was an absolute delight.

Review 22：Bonifacio for some odd reason has an outdoor disco on the harbour which excels at increasing decibel levels until at least two in the morning. They claim to have official permission to do this.We felt sorry for the locals who have to live with this. We tourists can move on.

We had a medical emergency and the director of the hotel did everything, far beyond her duty, to help us. Huge thank you to her and all the receptionists, they are the biggest plus of the hotel!

Review 29：Breakfast is cheap ... Ingredients and variety but to be expected for athree star hotel. However to charge the high price of 285 euros for whatthe management calls a junior suite is the worst ever that I have had inmy entire life of traveling and what I call false advertising for youget! I had the chance to check out other placed much better and lesscostly. The noise of the disco across the harbor enters your roomregardless of closed windows or earplugs or air condioning unit! Thepillows were awful and if you have to use the bathroom at night becareful of the level of difference between bedroom and bathroom or youfall! The sink is made of wood varnished with boat varnish and the sinkis made of an agglomeration of four pieces of coriander. Type materialglued together at 4 corners! The varnish of the bathroom floor is thesame and peeling. The carpet in the room smells and they use airfreshner to cover up. The rug on floor is is hideous and bedcover isawful both in color and texture and weight. Also why have two balconiesdivided by a wall? View and description of junior suite is totallydeceptive on internet!

Review 30：Proximity to old town is a 15-20 minute walk along the harbor frontwhich is pleasant. Lots of restaurants to choose from to go and eat ifyou do not feel like walking very far. Nice view of harbor during theday and night.

The coffee were from a wending machine, small yoghurt cans, factory made omelette that supposed to be hot but was not defrosted. -Bad smell in the closet and the bed spreads. -The safety box was not attached to the wall.

Review 49：It really depends on what you want: But if you like to sleep the night, then you should look at the next hotel on your list. There's an unbelievable loud and active party club in the habour and even if you close the proper windows you hear every beat till 2am, every night...and I'm still somebody who's going out for dancing :-) Besides too pricey for the value.

Review 106：One of the staff members was the rudest you can imagine for a hotelstaff. Normally, they have a rule of leaving the room key in thereception and one day, there was no one at the reception and we took thekey with us, and when we came back at night, he reprimanded us as if afather is yelling at his children. His manner, his loud noise, hiscondescending look and everything made us very unhappy and we were tooshocked to give him back an answer really... Other night, when we cameback, there was another man who did not know even one word of English,so when we said "Room 101 (one zero one) , he did not understand itat all, we repeated many times and finally we pointed our fingers at ourkey on the wall and he could give it to us after a couple of minutes oftrial. The female members of the staff were nice and kind. One of theworst things was that the room was not clean enough. There was a balconywith shutters covered with dust and mud. The chairs, the small table andeverything was very very dirty. I had to clean the whole balcony myselfto be able to sit there and hang our towels after we came from thebeach. This happened for the first time in our travels. The room sizeand comfort was not too bad but the bathroom and toilet was ridiculous.The toilet was not in the bathroom. It was separate with a width of 70cm or so... I am 50 kilos and my husband is 70 and I cannot think that aperson of 90 kilos or more would fit in that prison-like cell. It wasimpossible to sit and close the door. You should move to the behind ofthe toilet seat to close the door and then sit. Also, while closing thedoor, it always hit the electric switch and turned it off. It was ahorrible experience. Also in the bathroom cabin, there was no space toput shampoo, soap or things like that. Only the floor - really nowhereelse... Additionally, this was the first time I saw a wash basin withouta bottom part. It was fixed on the wooden basin with silicon.

Review 108：I. The suite the tv is in one room and the bed is in another. Breakfast is 15 euros so we didn't try it. The hotel is a bit privet, but good value for the money.

The bath has a shower with a glass door,a lot of hotels on Corsica do not have shower curtains. The view of theport and the design of the pool area are pluses. Super clean and an airyfeel to the room. Lovely lobby area and sufficient area for parking.
