Reviews for Lagrange City Paris/Boulogne
Review 1:Kind of far from Paris city center (last station on metro line 9 - 20 min ride).
Review 2:Proximity to metro, helpful staff, good value for the money, underground parking, nice small kitchen, safe neighbourhood.
Review 3:Only one pillow each No comfortable chairs Only one chair which was not a soft relaxing chair And spa wasnt working
Review 4:Location and a kitchenette and bed was confortable
Review 5:Being my first ever visit to Boulogne-Billancourt a rich area on the outskirts of Paris, it was a new experience. The City Hotel was one of the 'Aparthotels' which in addition to providing restaurant breakfast also have facilities for self catering like the Microwave, tea/coffee facilities, crockery and cutlery. It was very clean and well located amongs quite a few restaurants. Italian restaurants and eateries seemed to be prevalent. The metro station Pont de Servres is within working distance and some 17 stops from the Gare des Lazares station.
Review 6:Close to end of Metro line 9 with stops close to many attractions. Parking available for €10/day. Kitchen with refrigator, microwave, waterheater, oven.
Review 7:The gym was very hot and that area smelled like chlorine. Our room wasn't as clean as we would have liked. We took a walk in the evening--nice apartments and condos to one side; slightly seedy on the other side.
Review 8:We needed a hotel close to Versailles, so this worked for us. The staff was nice and changed our room so we were not staying directly over the restaurant below. That meant we were over a roof which had lots of cigarette butts; however, we assume it was quieter. There is a great natural foods store 2-3 blocks away.
Review 9:Nothing to complain for
Review 10:We stayed at Lagrange city Boulogne durimg our three-day visit to Rock en Seine festival. 7 min walk and 1 stop by tram made it easy to get quickly to St.Cloud. 2 min to nearest metro, which takes to city center in 20 min. Nice staff, cleanliness and availability of mini-kitchen made our stay really comfortable.
Review 11:No bottle opener in self-catering setup - pretty basic omission. System of badges and keys for access was slightly tiresome, though on the upside, pretty secure.
Review 12:Location v handy for me (visiting daughter, not holidaying in Paris); staff v helpful; car park v useful.
Review 13:Check the kitchen inventory when you arrive. We made breakfast in room and had several items missing and did not get them replaced even when we asked for them at reception. Area is very new and modern so don't stay here if you want a traditional feel.
Review 14:Good location for metro links into centre only 5 mins walk to station and a few local restaurants to choose from including a Carrefour for groceries all in easy walking distance. Safe parking in underground car park. Friendly staff.
Review 15:Cleaning not every day. When arrived there was a mistake with the room that wasn't cleaned at all after previous roomer
Review 16:Room is big and nice, comfortable bad.
Review 17:Bathroom really small. Bed not very comfortable. A disaster at the breakfast: no place, not very clean...but the staff manages it rather well
Review 18:Staff very friendly and good location. The room is clean.
Review 19:They didnt clean the room at all. During the 4 days qe stay there, they came only the second day just to change the towles . We run out of toilet paper and we were full of garbages.
Review 20:The room was quite and the metro was close.Nice room decoration.
Review 21:First we got room that stink on cigarette (it's non smoking hotel). After asking to change the room, answer was:"It's a lot of paper work"...We did change a room on the end...For the parking place we got the remote with (not existing) parking place number. After searching for some time we went back to the reception to ask where is our parking place. At first they didn't know (?), but after they told us we can park on any place (no matter which number) with hotel name.
Review 22:Hotel is satisfying. 10 minute walking from the metro. Fine kitchenette. Price for the parking is OK.
Review 23:Wifi is free but so slow that can be considred as not existant. Sometime, barrely able to check mails, most of the time not even that! Several resteaurants in the area but those I tried were discusting.
Review 24:Clean Friendly and helpful staff Area: close to the football stadion Close to the metro and bus station supermarkets, bakery, pharmacy, bank and othe shops are few minutes walking from the hotel
Review 25:A terrible smell in the room, I guess all smells were coming from ventilation which didn't work normally. I had to open the windows immediately. All the kitchen utensils to cook you have to rent.
Review 26:Is is far from a city center but the area has nice restaurant spots nearby, a supermarket and a metro station are also not far away. Staff is welcoming but seems to be relaxed. Wifi connection was very good. Mattelass is comfortable.
Review 27:No complimentary condiements ie coffee, tea bags. Small shower, no iron in the room.
Review 28:The location of the hotel wasn't too much of an issues there is a supermarket not far and a nice few restaurants, free wifi always a bonus, friendly staff, big room comfortable bed and good size kitchen area with pans and coffee manchine.
Review 29:Breakfast personnel supervising (lady) was very impolite and even rude without any reason. Two days in a row so wasn t a coincidence
Review 30:Spacious, close to metro, easy to park the car Very friendly reception desk
Review 31:What's not to like?
Review 32:Quiet neighbourhood, during the weekend. Plenty of places to eat within a few minutes walking distance. A supermarket and a boulangerie within a few minutes walk. Not far from the metro.
Review 33:I was staying at the apartments due to the location, Rock en Seine was within walking distance (about 45 minutes) or shorter if you hop on the tram to Parc Saint Cloud. The reception staff spoke great english and were helpful with information on local travel. There are lots of supermarkets, cafes and amenities very close & 2 metro stations within a 5 minute walk. The apartments were quiet & felt safe, lots of families and other festival goes from all nationalities.
Review 34:The ventilation fans in the bathroom and kitchenette were not working and consequently there was a lingering smell of damp – obviously no good maintenance checks in a while. Not to provide sponge and washing-up liquid in the kitchenette but charge €9 for a 'cleaning kit' is ridiculous. Some instructions on how to work the microwave grill would have been handy (I eventually gave up trying to figure it out). Saucepan was missing a lid (again, things that should be checked for).
Review 35:Friendly and helpful staff, including housekeeping. Clean and spacious room with lots of power sockets. Close to metro and very close to large supermarket.
Review 36:No frills accommodation in clean and comfortable rooms. Quiet location close to the busier streets of Boulogne. Lots of eateries nearby, secure and comfortable.
Review 37:nothing to mention
Review 38:really nice staff, very helpful, nice and large apartment, located near the subway was 3-4 minutes walk to the subway, the area is nice there are many restaurants and shops nearby .apartment is about12 minutes to the center of Paris with the metro, free wifi included in rent, but you have pay for the breakfast ,otherwise almost everything have been ok and we will surley back to stay in this hotel.
Review 39:Room smelt mildewy from bathroom, apartment had insufficient crockery and what the did have wad chipped. The room had not been cleaned properly when we arrived as we soon found out when we stood on broken glass. Having to pay 8 euroeach for use of the spa is way over priced.
Review 40:Close to publuc treansport and supermarket.
Review 41:Rubbish not removed daily, bathroom smelled mouldy (though none to br seen). Repeatedly requested a phone that rang, in the apartment, after 17 days no success.Charged for drycleaning not pressing. For 4 days lift was dangerous, door kept closing when getting in or out, does leave the odd bruise.
Review 42:Area good, close to transport, supermarket, not too far from main shops. Didnt use facilities.
Review 43:Gym equipment not of good standard. No threadmill present, could do with putting one in.
Review 44:Good size studio flat. Clean and tidy.Good customer service. Can't comment on the food as I didn't eat at the hotel.
Review 45:A bit far from the city center if visiting Paris
Review 46:Good value for money. Price of breakfast was correct for Paris
Review 47:Bed was actually a convertible sofa with a thin matress
Review 48:Cheap price for Paris.
Review 49:1. Good price 2. Nice and clean bedroom 3. Good Hotel service 4. Near to Metro station
Review 50:Toilet too small
Review 51:Good location
Review 52:we chose the hotel because of the proximity to our daughter. The Metro and Tram are very close by.
Review 53:location
Review 54:No mini-bar
Review 55:Location, format, facilities
Review 56:Functional accomodation with decent breakfast. Not a nice area unless its convenient for your business trip.
Review 57:Shower a little small
Review 58:Perfectly clean, functional
Review 59:Close location to company offices
Review 60:It was very cold inside and the air conditioning did not work
Review 61:Location to my company's office
Review 62:Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and very well equiped. Near to Metro station and local shops and market.
Review 63:Lise was excellent. But so were the other staff.
Review 64:Quiet residential area only 10minutes by metro to Trocadero. Very clean and comfortable with really helpful staff.
Review 65:Coffee maker did not work well.
Review 66:AC not working
Review 67:Location, breakfast.
Review 68:Space was nice - staff helpful
Review 69:small rooms
Review 70:locatin,staff,clean
Review 71:No tea or coffee sachets or milk.
Review 72:The beds were super comfy
Review 73:only one lift, cards stopped working after first night for no reason
Review 74:location, car park
Review 75:The staff were very helpful. Comfortable bed, clean facilities. Parking!
Review 76:Location, room, street.
Review 77:A staff very helpfull, room with space and mini kitchen, calm and well decorated.
Review 78:Situation of the hotel for business purposes in that area is excellent. Close to a variety of restaurants.
Review 79:Perfect for Rock en seine festival - no access to a bar after hours though
Review 80:Breakfast...very limited items....but cant expect more for the amount charged... :)
Review 81:Excellent services for the money paid.
Review 82:A little bit far away from the city, but within the zone 2 and with good metro connection.
Review 83:Very well equipped kitchen (only cleaning liquid not included - avaiable for 5 euro). English-speaking staff. Carrefour 5 minutes away.
Review 84:Expensive, but then you are in Paris.Only real complaint we could make is that it had only one chair (bearing in mind it has a kitchenette, a table to eat from, so people will eat there) and only one bedside table, but a double bed! We hired it for a couple, but felt like it was set up for a single person.
Review 85:Close enough to walk to Roland Garros from here, which is why we were there. The apartment was clean and the bathroom had everything you'd expect from an Aparthotel at this price. Like the idea of investing into this kind of set up and will look in future to see if my funds would ever allow.
Review 86:Breakfast room too small at the "rush" hours. Lift not working from the parking to the hotel.
Review 87:Cleanliness and space of the room. Very confortable bed. Complete breakfast and not expensive for Paris (10€). Nice small restaurants in the same street.
Review 88:very hard to find even with a sat nav,not enough signage! the surrounding area is nice but is kindve almost all new build and only half full so far so very little going on. walk 10 mins and theres more of a town.
Review 89:fab location, very clean apartment, excellent English talking reception staff, easy taxi ride into the city centre. lovely clean large apartment big enough for four guys with all the modern amenities.
Review 90:Would have liked refreshment - mini bar - in the apartment. Supermarket nearby though.
Review 91:Perfect location for parc des princes, arc de triomphe, rock en seine. Good bars and restaurants nearby - friendly locals too.
Review 92:It seems the breakfast was a little bit expensive. Having said that the restaurant was very clean.
Review 93:The room was very clean, also the bath. The hotel has the car parking underfloor (10 Euro), it was comfortable for us the reason was because we went to downtown by Metro and could park until 15:00 without additional charge.
Review 94:No confirmation email when I booked directly and was told on phone it was full. Subsequently booked through booking.com. hotel then told me I had booked 2 rooms! They gave someone else my room key and he arrived into my room around midnight. Unacceptable service and security.
Review 95:Location to work and some nice bars and restaurants
Review 96:The room was warm, even after we turned down the heat.
Review 97:Very quiet. Friendly staff. Had everything we needed. Good location. Metro close by. Grocery store handy. Lots of good restaurants in area. Would stay there again without hesitation.
Review 98:No tea or coffee making facilities although you get a fridge, microwave and cutlery? Shower had very poor pressure and went from hot to cold and back again. The bed was similar to two single beds pushed together and was uncomfortable. This is a no frills hotel but sadly the price does not reflect this.
Review 99:The staff were very friendly
Review 100:the sheets were dirty, there was no hair-drier, no heating in the room only in the bathroom. We asked the staff to call us a cab and they said we can't because of 5 euros charged for the call: unbelievable! We also asked for direction and they were wrong. The breakfast was decent. For sure, not coming back there!
Review 101:the position closed to the office
Review 102:The room was advertised as having free wireless. Wifi was not working atall. Very basic and unexpensive items, typically available in similarplaces, were not available: shampoo/shower gel, hair dryer... Thebed was not a proper bed but a couch with a bed inside. Not comfortableat all. Very little space in the room.
Review 103:Clean very nice brasserie available just across the street
Review 104:Breakfast was pretty basic
Review 105:Really friendly and helpful staff.
Review 106:The staff was very rude and not helpful.
Review 107:The place is clean, the rooms are very small but modern.
Review 108:Apartments are very nice and comfortable. Area around is pace full.
Review 109:There's a free bus to the MTR, nice bathroom, lovely kitchen. Good services, nice stuffs! Must choice in Paris!
