Reviews for Appart'City Le Havre

Review 1:The area location did not look safety at all. Good part is that they have an underground parking, I would have never let my vehicle on that street over the night. We had to pay for the wi fi, but guess what from 5 min to 5 min was not working, so basically we pay for a service which did not work properly. Le Havre is a town which somehow left behind the time (not in the good way of saying it), without any touristic attraction or pleasure to spent time there. I would never spent other day of my vacation there.

Review 2:corridor smelt really bad of either fish or curry very unpleasant but once in room no smell. needs a thorough clean and redecoration extremely hot at night no air con

Review 3:loved the shower itself .enjoyed the balcony. we never cooked but plates etc were useful

Review 4:The hotel was a bit out of the area for restaurants And the bars closed a bit to earlier .and far to many pizza places urgh !

Review 5:The bed was very comfortable and the amenities great .plus you could park underneath the hotel and you felt safe (small charge but worth it )

Review 6:No wifi in the hotel yet States on booking that wifi is there which it is not only has a wired internet connection which for an iPhone is useless

Review 7:The hotel was better the expected

Review 8:Kitchen was dirty and smelly. Table and chairs were squeezed next to bed, so no room to get to wardrobe. Hotel located in rundown neighbourhood... I didn't feel safe as a single woman. Hotel hard to find without a sat-nav.

Review 9:Close to tramway. Neighbourhood has lots of cheap restaurants. Underground parking for a daily fee.

Review 10:the area is very run down, if i were with my wife i would have found another hotel geting in was a problem as we turned up at 8.30pm none of us speak or read french (which is our problem) so if it wasn't for a passerby we would not have got in

Review 11:we were pleasently suprised as the reviews were terrible but he rooms were clean and better than expepted the secure parking was very welcome as we were on motor cycles and did not want to leave them in street

Review 12:Location is not good and is quite a way out of the centre. On site secure parking is available in the basement, its very tight and you would struggle to get a car in that had a rooftop box.I wouldn't have liked to leave my car on the street in that area.Very small rooms no AC and strong smell of cigarettes in the corridors.Okay for a budget overnight stay.

Review 13:Value for money, its like a mini apartment.Helpful receptionist with free secure parking and pet friendly.

Review 14:The Location - Difficult to fine, specially with roadworks having closed the turnings that we wanted and nowhere near the restaurants.

Review 15:The Room - had everything we needed.

Review 16:...

Review 17:easy to tourist attraction parking

Review 18:outside the centre

Review 19:parking available

Review 20:the simplicity

Review 21:it was difficult to get in contact by phone after frontdesk was closed.

Review 22:price

Review 23:Dodgy area at night to be walking around in

Review 24:Within 30 mins walking distance of the centre, 40 mins to beach

Review 25:- internet is not working - noisy guests staying

Review 26:Cooking facilities hot plate and microwave. You had to put kettle or coffee machine on floor to put on no plug points. No sofa as picture shows. No instruction on what you had to do in apartment like rubbish cleaning. Location in very poor and noisy area did not feel safe to walk. The room and corridor smelt of smoke all the time we were there. Not suitable for families. No hotel services as stated no clean towels, tea towels no sheet changes. Only suitable for commercial and manual working men

Review 27:Although the apartment was small it had a balcony which we requested and paid extra for this gave us somewhere to sit. Good garage facilities which we paid extra for

Review 28:No toaster or kettle - but that wasn't very important.

Review 29:The general setup, reception and welcome and arrangements in the apartment, the secure parking and the fact that I could take my dogs.

Review 30:Everything was perfect. I would not put a negative comment for this hotel, venue, staff and facilities.

Review 31:The hospitality of the staff. The gentleman of the reception Mr. Vincent was very organised, friendly and professional. It was very close to public transport and not far from the Le Havre train station sncf, by bus and tram. Nice shopping areas. Rooms were excellent and well equipped. I would definitely take this hotel again for my next trip.

Review 32:The location is not good. It's a little far from the train station. The staffs almost provide no service. They only check-in and check-out and they will not clean your room during your stay. In every night and sundays, the staffs are duty-off. So we can not check-out in that time.

Review 33:There are many supermarkets near the hotel. And they also provide kitchen in each room. We can cook by our own. That makes us save a lot of money.

Review 34:The rooms are very small and cramped and with 2 beds no room to move around. Located in a run down area of the town with no good restaurants in the vicinity.

Review 35:Nice staff and very helpful.

Review 36:The weather was warm and there was no Air con facilities or fans available. There was a few Bodily hair on the Bathroom walls which didn't belong to either of us and there was a slight build-up of dirt in the corners of the bathroom and kitchen areas. The dishwasher was full and unclean from previous tenants and cycle unfinished. No toaster no grill so hard to make toast in the morning. No kettle so couldn't make tea or coffee in the morning plus no coffee mugs only esprssco cups. There was alot of noise in the middle of the night from the bar accross the road

Review 37:The staff were very friendly and helpful. We were able to get underground parking for a fee.

Review 38:we were with two persons, but we only had 1 chair on the balconnee and no table, we saw that others had 2 chairs and a table. the room was not very clean, and the sheet from the bed had holes in it. the shower did not give warm water all the time. we had only 2 towels for 4 nights.

Review 39:it is not much money for a place to stay, when we arrived we were reveived very kind and quick by a lady. the parking garage is good. we liked the dishwasher in the kitchen.

Review 40:- the hotel is in an unpleasant part of the city - no restaurants around (only an expensive night shop)

Review 41:- the room was a 'studio' with a kitchen - there was a terrace/balcony - the hotel was well maintained

Review 42:I don't know if it was only our room, but the internet was very hard to connect to. They have a gateway system which lets you log in and use their internet connection, and you could very rarely get it to work. Once you were past the gateway, the internet itself worked fine. It's just whatever system they're using when you first attempt to access it that was spotty. Also the fold-out bed had a piece of metal which swung up and clanged into the frame very loudly any time you leant on the end of the bed, which is luckily not an issue when sleeping but is a bit jarring when climbing in. Maybe we were meant to leave the cushions attached, but it's not a very well designed fold-out bed.

Review 43:The shower was an actual shower, rather than a shower over bath, which I liked. It was also strong and stayed warm. A good shower is very important to me. The room we stayed in had a very large balcony which we really enjoyed eating on, although the room next to us appeared to have a much smaller balcony so I suppose that's a chance you have to take (Maybe you can request a large balcony?).

Review 44:The room was not very clean and the kitchen utensils were reallydirty it is very far from the station/center and the neighborhoodis not very nice

Review 45:Typical Appart'City style, but the rooms are smaller than inother locations

Review 46:Kitchen had a small dishwasher but lacked some larger utensils such as a bread knife.

Review 47:Good value for money. Near 2 bus routes to travel into town centre and to rail and bus stations.

Review 48:I forgot about the cable internet connection. Wireless would definitelybe an added advantage.

Review 49:Cheap, comfortable and quiet.

Review 50:Finding a place to park your car near the hotel is very difficult.

Review 51:Cheap, big and clean bathroom with a great shower, cheap breakfast.

Review 52:There are not any vending machines to buy a water or snack when it's evening or weekend.

Review 53:Comfortable and clean. Good for a small family.
