Review 1：Staff very nice and friendly, restaurant food is lovely, I had the steak. A really nice and relaxing trip. (I did go out of season in December - so can't say what it would be like in Summer).

Review 2：The hotel looked better from the outside than on the inside. The decor and furnishings were tired and the room smelled musty and was not particularly clean.

Review 6：Very basic facilities, very basic room. Shower was at the same level as the rest of the bathroom with a plug hole in the floor. Having a shower flooded the entire bathroom

Review 8：Bathroom needs an update. The ensuite bathroom floor required wiping with a squeegee after showering as the water flows out from under the shower curtain and across the floor.

Review 9：The hotel is in a great location. We had lovely views of the harbour from our room. Breakfast was substantial with lots of variety. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Review 10：Wasn't able to check-in until after two pm. Yet on check-out the clerk said she would charge me 100DK/hour($18)if i stayed in the room past 11 am. She wasn't kidding!

Review 16：The hotel itself is OK, but the restaurant (Hvonn) has incredible waiting times (sometimes over an hour), with the possibility that you are turned away. The staff in Hvonn seem constantly overwhelmed by the workload.

Review 36：- Bad smell in room and bathroom. - Airport shuttle Sunday morning had not been ordered although requested on Friday. - Charged to my credit card although Booking.com clearly stated that this card number was only taken as guarantee and payment would be taken during the stay. What if I had exceeded my spending limit unexpectedly?

Review 38：No free parking at hotel, but there is some a short walk away. Pillows were a bit too soft, but this is a matter of personal preference. Although we booked a double, we got a twin with the beds pushed together. There was no herbal tea at breakfast, but this is really a very small issue. Overall, no complaints.

Review 49：Excellent location!! We stayed at the Hotel Torshavn for 4 nights. Thelarge, sea view room was a nice size with a wonderful view of theharbor. The room was clean and the staff was warm and friendly. We ate afew times in the hotel restaurant and the food was superb! We alsoenjoyed the live jazz music in the bar and the hot breakfast. We had noproblem with the free WiFi and there was also a computer the lobby.There is free parking close by and the front desk staff was very helpfulin providing information and making phone calls as needed. I woulddefinitely recommend this hotel!
