Camping Solmar sells fast on our site. Located just 1,000 feet from the beach and 5 minutes’ drive from the centre of Blanes, Camping Solmar offers an outdoor pool, a restaurant and bungalows with private terraces.
The modern, wooden bungalows include a sofa, TV and kitchenette equipped with a hob, microwave and coffee machine. Each one has a private bathroom with a shower.
There are many sports facilities at the campsite, including tennis courts, paddle tennis, a football pitch, basketball court and volleyball net. There is also a children’s club.
Several eating options can be found within a 5-minute walk of Solmar. Blanes also offers a wide range of restaurants, shops and bars.
Barcelona can be reached in around an hour’s drive. Free parking is available on site.

Reviews for Camping Solmar

Review 1：The bungalow contained accessorized kitchen with plates, cups and so on. However there is no soap, scotch or a dryer to do the dishes. Linen and towels are not provided. There are no nets for the windows and there are flys everywhere. The place has high potential but is disappointing due to everything I mentioned above.

Review 2：The place is beautiful and located very close to the beach. Big bedrooms and clean.

Review 3：-a bit far from the train station(~40 minutes walk- better take the bus to the bus station and walk from there the first time you arrive) -upon arrival lady at the reception demanded an 100 euro deposit cash(I couldn't find this condition as mandatory in the camping description). She couldn't accept neither USD dollars(only after an exchange to euros), nor a credit card, and threatened to cancel my reservation, if I don't bring her this sum right away. So I had to look around for functioning cash machines, which are not that easy to come by in that particular area) -internet/bed linen cost extra

Review 4：-really close to the beach -kitchen came equipped with every utensil we needed, except a tea kettle and a corkscrew -different entertainment events organised throughout the day by the pool -nice outdoor porch for morning/evening tea -supermarket close by

Review 5：Chalet layout gives no sense of privacy/space. Pool needs someslides or a diving board and shuts too early with no laterevening/night swims available. Evening entertainment was lacking -it seemed that zumba was mostly it! No air conditioning. Cookingfacilities were very basic - did not use at all as inadequate for afamily of 5 and we had meals out. No bbq provided - would be veryuseful. 10 Euros charge per half hour for tennis plus additional cost touse their rackets/balls and even additional cost for floodlights!

Review 9：I didn't like the heat in the bungalows..they are all wood inside and feel like saunas,there are no fans which makes sleeping in August difficult as the noise outside is loud..we arrived on a saturday at the end of August and it was full to capacity..it was so busy..the pool was heaving and didn't make for pleasant swimming..if you want peace and quiet..do not come here but if you don't mind a very crowded,noisy environment you will probably like it.

Review 10：I liked the location and being close to restaurants,shops and the beach..all within a few minutes walking distance..there is a large salt water pool in the grounds and activities for the children.
