Reviews for Agroturismo Son Vivot
Review 1:Nothing
Review 2:Excellent experiance. Went to Son Vivot with my wife after our wedding and had a great experiance. Over 400y old finca still in the hands of the family. Very nice hosts, providing is with great breakfast in a very private and relaxed athmosphere.
Review 3:wi-fi not working, not much of interest within walking distance
Review 4:picturesque historic property, quiet rural location, good pool surrounded by trees, breakfasts, good self-catering facilities, lovely grounds, easy access to good roads for towns, coast or mountains
Review 5:Absence of fans ...
Review 6:This place is the heart of Mallorca, inland. It is a beautiful typical 'Son'. Getting away from hotels you can see on the south/eastern coast. The owners are nice persons, friendly and open.
Review 7:The setting was beautiful and we enjoyed the peaceful surroundings - the pool and gardens were perfect for lounging around in the very hot afternoons. Kind hosts. Central location meant we could explore lots of island by car and bike.
Review 8:Since this was agro-tourism, we expected to try some local produce eg. fresh grown fruits and vegetables. The breakfast was standard hotel food- everything you can get in supermarket. The apartment was very nice, however it could use some dusting and airing. Price to quality ratio is really low, we expected more for this money.
Review 9:Localisation is very convenient - close to main cities, surrounded by many charming small towns that must be visited. The house is typical Spanish villa, nice garden with orange trees. There is small pool and place to relax. We stayed in an apartment with two spacious bedrooms and the living room with kitchen. The apartment was fully equipped, it had also a fireplace.
Review 10:was expecting a double bed but was 2 singles pushed together. was offered tea on arrival but at a charge![the last 2 fincas stayed at had free wine on arrival] ,beds too hard
Review 11:17c history, peace, friendly owners, good breakfasts, antique furnishings, rustic charm, good pool, large room[ no 4]
Review 12:No
Review 13:We stayed here for 5 days and all our time there were very pleasant and comfortable. Everything is managed by very kind family of hosts who support you all the stay. You will have breakfast prepared on the shared balcony with impressive view to the mountains and hills. Rooms and bath are clean and beautiful, but take into account that the house has been built in 17th century, so everything is more "old-school" than brand new, but it gives you the feeling of something very authentic. The territory is quite large and very quiet, and the pool area is very clean and can be a perfect place to have after-lunch sleep. Also there are a lot of orange and lemon trees and cat with a dog living there. In other words living there is more like being a guest of your relatives in the village than living in the regular hotel. Also the place is very convenient to travel all over the island as it is located almost in the middle. Alcudia, Palma or Valldemossa are not more then 35-40 minutes from there by car.
Review 14:The owners do not speak any English at all, which can be difficult. There was a nasty smell coming from the drain in the bathtub - had to stuff the hole with toilet roll and then it was fine. Some people might mind that there is a big dog running free (and a few cats)
Review 15:It's more of a castle than a finca - truly magical atmosphere and location with amazing views from the pool and the room (we had a superior double). Very friendly owners.
Review 16:Facilities are basic as is breakfast, wifi only worked well in the lounge.
Review 17:Beautiful old building and lovely room.
Review 18:Quiet place in beautiful green location. Enjoyed the breakfast on the sunny terrace.
Review 19:Stunning Finca, Quiet location, fabulous retreat
Review 20:Amanzing authentic experiance in the middle of Mallorca. All sides of the island reachable from the nice agrotourismo finca.
Review 21:Peaceful, authentic location. Excellent breakfast. Nice hosts.
Review 22:Simply beautiful.
Review 23:Spacious appartement Nice pool Relaxed mood
Review 24:The beds/mattresses in the apartment need to be a little more comfortable but it didn't really matter as the place as stunning.
Review 25:The finca was beautiful.
Review 26:We were satisfied with all amenities!
Review 27:We loved the feeling of peacefulness provided by the wonderful surroundings of the centuries old Vivot estate: the stone buildings, the wonderful terraces, the orchards, the evident former gardens and walkway under the vines on their perimeter. While we were there in late February, the pool would have been a great place to relax after our day cycling, if we had come in May! The owners, Louisa and Vicent went out of their way to make our stay as enjoyable as it truly was. Will be back in the fall, and bring friends from Canada to taste Louisa's marmalade!
Review 28:The finca may decsribe itself as an agroturismo but this is not reflected in the products which it serves. Breakfast was entirely of supermarket / Macro products - cheap ham, processed cheese, supermarket eggs etc. The pool was dirty and we had to clean it ourselves by scooping all the debris and insects out. The bicycles which are offered as free are really old, not roadworthy, squeaky brakes, rusty chains etc. Not fit for purpose! We asked if we could get dinner there and were told that was fine, we asked for the price and got no response. We were served three courses - some tinned soup, then for the main, lamb chops which were too chewy to eat and vegetable tumbet dripping in oil; then a scoop of ice cream for dessert. Afterwards we were presented with the bill of 60 euros for two people!!! We had much nicer meals everywhere else we ate for the whole holiday and did not once pay this much for a meal! This place is ok but seems to me to be terrible value for money and I would not recommend it to others!
Review 29:The location of Son Vivot is lovely - it is very peaceful and relaxing. The finca is beautiful, and so are the grounds. It was very quiet while we were there - no other guests and there was lots of space for us to relax in the sunshine.
Review 30:Our only criticism, though a minor one, is the shower could have been somewhat larger.
Review 31:The family was charming, the house and garden are beautiful, we were given a wonderful welcome, the breakfast was very good and there was the possibility of preparing one's own supper and eating on one of the various terraces. The situation and views are stunning.
Review 32:There was nothing that I didn't like.
Review 33:Everyone was wonderful. The food was delicious. The hotel dates back to 1612 and is so charming.
Review 34:Great place, wonderful architecture, warm welcome by our hosts - highly recommended hotel!
