Reviews for Best Western Select Hotel
Review 1:Wifi did not work for some reason and no shower curtain but picking a little.
Review 2:Staff were very helpful and location for centre of Paris was spot on myself and my son were visiting to watch psg play and visit the Eiffel Tower and staff could not be more helpful
Review 3:It was 4°C for days and there was no heating in my room (#69) hotel. The radiators were cold and the air-conditioning (which supposedly also heats) did not work.
Review 4:The car park could be better sign posted. The wifi didn't work above 4th floor
Review 5:We stayed here to attend the Rock en Seinne music festival just a mile walk from the hotel. Staff are very friendly, hotel clean and well maintained
Review 6:We booked two rooms, one on the 5thfloor was quite but the second room on the 6th floor had noisy guests in the room next door which caused the people in the other adjoining room to complain and bang on our wall thinking it was us making the noise. received visits from reception at 1am asking us to be quite. also the adjustment to lift the height for the shower was broken and the air con wasnt great.
Review 7:Location to tube going directly to Eiffel tower was areal benefit. Room was spacious and well presented. Being able to park the car on the premises was a bonus, particularly because we had been camping for the week prior to Paris and needed to leave our tents etc. in the car.
Review 8:WI-Fi was very good once connected but the procedure to make. The connection was rather clumsy. Shower curtains are not always good but it was difficult to keep the bathroom floor dry.
Review 9:The hotel was in a good location albeit busy and perhaps a bit noisy if on lower floors. The facilities were as expected and the price reasonable.
Review 10:Not much privacy for the triple room, as people could just pass by your window and have an instant insight into your room :)
Review 11:Walking distance to Roland Garros courts, a decent place to spend the night, but not more.
Review 12:The shower is placed in the bath, however no protection (e.g. curtain) is provided, therefore is floor immediatelly wet.
Review 13:Personal is constantly very nice.
Review 14:Bed was way too short and I'm not a tall person. The wooden floor creaked and my colleague in the room below me could hear me walk. No shower curtain so the bathroom gets wet.Used tea bags/sugar not refilled.
Review 15:Hotel was clean, pleasant staff, had a water heater in the room for tea.
Review 16:The cleaning lady knocked every morn waking us up.
Review 17:It was a great deal! Good location and lots of restaurants. Close to the metro and not far from Paris.
Review 18:On the down side the room is very small, actually everything is very small ( elevator, lobby) and the service is not the best.
Review 19:We went for a 3 day trip to Paris for lNew Year's Eve and choose this hotel for our stay because we got a good price and it was very close to the metro. We were not disappointed for our choice. It was very close to the metro, less than a minute, and the bed was very confortable so we got a good night sleep and those were just the things we were looking for. The "value for price" ratio depends on what is the actual price you are paying. For what we payed, it was very good.
Review 20:Understanding and friendly management! We had planned a sporting trip in Parris for the weekend. Due to an unexpected urgent medical problem I ended the night before in the hospital. ……..To late to cancel my single room. Yet, the hotel contacted „Booking.com” to cancel the single room as I did not show up for sickness reasons. The Hotel refunded me all costs for my single room. Thanks! Also my friends were satisfied with there stay at the hotel.
Review 21:With limited space, the bathroom facilities should aim for ease of use. Only a shower, basin, wc and bidet are all that's required.
Review 22:Small with basic facilities. Comfortable with room temperature control. I do not mind not having a view
Review 23:Price tag rather high compared to the living space or lack of facilities, like a bar. Rather dull environment. Streets around the hotel though nice and lively.
Review 24:Quick Access and support by personal, and parking in a busy city as Paris is.
Review 25:the lighting in the lounge was on a weird setting that faded and brightened!
Review 26:it was really easy to get into paris by the metro. also it was only a 5 min walk to the bus station at Pont de Sevre to Versailles. we were here for the Arc de Triomphe race meeting and free buses were provided from the bus station
Review 27:Seemed quite worn out and not so pleasant. Thin walls, could hear the noise from other rooms. Definitely not good for any romantic occasion or to feel that you are in Paris, but if you are a type of person who does not mind where you sleep at night, it is an OK place to stay.
Review 28:Good location to meet with friends in the area. The staff members were quite efficient. Easy to reach by taxi and metro.
Review 29:The bathroom could have been better but considering the price it was more than adequate. The road is really noisy so you have to have the windows closed to sleep.
Review 30:Very comfy and right next to the tube. Good value for money. Good food outlets and shopping nearby.
Review 31:Not overly happy about the fire escape situation. Needs to be looked into.
Review 32:Having read some reviews on another website, I booked in here with some reservations. It was with great relief that these were ill founded. The staff were very friendly and hospitable. The hotel was clean. My room was a good size, for Paris, and the bed was very comfortable. I have no problem recommending this hotel.
Review 33:Air conditioning was poor, if it was working at all. The wi-fi didn't work. The shower in the bath had no screen or curtain, so it was difficult to have a shower without the bathroom floor getting wet.
Review 34:Handy location for the Metro. I was travelling with a bicycle and the hotel has a secure car park. Friendly staff. Nice and clean, and quiet. Didn't try the breakfast as had made other arrangements.
Review 35:No shower curtain for bath so easy to get whole bathroom wet if shower.Air con not very effective and if leave window open lots of trafficnoise. Cleaners not great (eventually noticed that bathroom bin had notbeen not been emptied when arrived and once during 3 night stay). Roomsafe did not work but offered one free at reception.
Review 36:The location was great, a suburb just outside peripherique with parkingfor 10 euros and the metro entrance almost at door for no. 9 line (1.70euro for single trip). Lots of shopping and eating nearby at MarcelSemblat. Room adequate size on 6th floor (small lift). Quiet at weekends(in July, but much busier on a weekday)
Review 37:The room was a little bit old and the sound of the next room is noisy.
Review 38:Very nice location. In front of the metro station.
Review 39:location parking
Review 40:bath bit of a death trap , throw it out now! and replace with walk in shower
Review 41:near metro ,great bed
Review 42:No wifi in room, had to go into the corridor
Review 43:Close to transport and Roland Garros
Review 44:The shower was very poor, and not fit for purpose
Review 45:Convenient location to metro. Good service, excellent staf

Review 57:2 bathrooms in the triple room
Review 58:Cort yard room
Review 59:location bit away from the city
Review 60:very neat and clean, good bathroom and toilets. wifi, excellent value for money
Review 61:dirty rooms and maids ignoring "do not disturb" signs and barging into my room while i was resting and telling me i should be out. the dirt in the room proved the maid didn't clean anyway
Review 62:the location was good
Review 63:Small bathroom. Thin walls and Metro goes under the hotel.
Review 64:Clean room, reasonable priced. Free and stable wifi in the room. Mini-bar / small fridge. Cold breakfast with decent selections. For sports lovers - close to Roland Garros and Parc des Princes (3-4 stops). Metro 2min walk away, good connection to major attractions / city centre. Couple of eateries around the hotel, late open hrs supermarket across the street. Can recommend.
Review 65:Noise of metro under hotel. Gentleman on reception bit rude and ignorant. Said coffee was not replenished in room after first nights stay, although he did go and get me two sachets. Why bother saying this, just replenish if you are there more than one night!
Review 66:Location great for tennis tournament
Review 67:No Shower curtain in cramped bath room, Courtesy coffee & tea makingin room serviced only on first night staff unhelpful, poor selection atbreakfast not worth 12 euro/head went to McDonalds McCafe after thatgreat croissants and coffee 5euro! Would expect higher standard for 150Euro/night
Review 68:Good Location for Metro into Paris, and also walking distance Parc dePrinces, and Stade Francais Rugby stadium Good selection of restaurantsand cafes in Billancourt
Review 69:Major re-painting and decorating underway so whole place smelled of fresh paint including my room. Room safe did not work so had to use reception safe.
Review 70:Very comfortable bed and clean bathroom.
Review 71:Renovations were happening and the rooms smelled like paint, very dusty, wifi reception in the room was terrible, breakfast had no selection and overpriced.
Review 72:the hotel was a mess wires hanging down from every ceiling holes in walls dirt every were ,no apology no mention of breakfast ,no mention of wifi told to go to shop if I want tea bags or coffee for room ,complained to desk but they were not intrested will never use agan
Review 73:Clearly the hotel is undergoing some sort of refurbishment which meant there were cables wires etc in the hall way on our floor. Felt abit uneasy with s many unconnected cables around.Over £100 (excluding breakfast) was a bit expensive
Review 74:Staff were very friendly and helpful as we were none french speaking. Very handy for the metro i stay in many hotels with my job and all have a variation of language channels (french German spanish etc) available on the TV this hotel did not.
Review 75:Free WiFi kept cutting out due to poor signal strength Cleaner didn't remove dirty cups No shower curtain on the bath
Review 76:Quiet room. Clean on arrival. Good size for a single Comfy bed
Review 77:Very willing to change rooms so that I could have one with a bath. Nice breakfast room and the bedroom was perfect for us.Excellent , safe offroad parking.
Review 78:Staff not very friendly and impatient No shower curtain Facilities quite old Room was very small
Review 79:Close to metro Close to Carrefour Safe neighborhood
Review 80:Room was a bit pokey, but no more than expected
Review 81:Reasonably-priced parking Proximity to the centre (for the pirce) Area has a nice cool vibe It's Paris!
Review 82:The room is a bit small.
Review 83:Though it locates a bit far from tourist spots, it's only 1 min by walk to the subway station. In an expensive city like Paris, I think the price is reasonable.
Review 84:The location was good for our needs. The staff were really helpful. The room was clean. The breakfast was good.We had everything we needed for our stay.
Review 85:there was a dirty duvet on our bed, and the temporary staff present during the night didn`t even know what to do.
Review 86:good position very close to underground, very friendly staff
Review 87:Shower tap was broken. Staff a bit slow in dealing with issues this could be due to language difference Lack of good restaurants in vicinity, most restaurants closed at weekends.
Review 88:Good bed Charming rooms Good breakfast
Review 89:You get a fair amount of road noise. It is on a busy road. It was slightly hard to see the parking area from the main road we had to re loop round a second time to catch it. Look carefully
Review 90:The lady on reception was very helpful spoke good English and was friendly, the room was clean, the bed despite other reviews was pretty decent. We asked the receptionist if we could leave the car parked in the secure car park which was very secure until after check out time so we could metro to Paris and she was fine about it. Towels are in room.
Review 91:Only one bath towell between two of us (although they would have provided another upon request)
Review 92:Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was extremely clean and quite elegant. Car park is a great advantage for a city hotel
Review 93:Relatively expensive breakfast. Didnt try.
Review 94:Hotel is clean. Safe parking w reasonable prise. Close to metro. English speaking, polite and helping front desk.
Review 95:It has carpark for 6 euros per day onsite, but my minivan (vwstartline) was too wide to get in (I cannot fold my side mirrors in). Ifound a public car park for 13 euros per day about 800 meters away atport de sevres. The hotel staff were unable to tell me this solution soI thought i'd post it here. Otherwise we had a great stay, staffwere kind.
Review 96:Clean and friendly, close to metro, great bakery down the street.
Review 97:The safety box in my room was not working and the door to my hotel roomdid not shut completely, resulting in the door being left slitely openby the cleaner because she did not pull the door shut with force. Not sofun returning after a hole day out finding your door open.
Review 98:Good location close to metro
Review 99:The hotel was situated within an area where I was visiting friends, hence my choice, I felt that it was reasonably priced but slightly smaller than I had imagined. The lobby was being re-furbished and was a little 'jaded' as a result. The room was small but clean with a bath and a good shower. There were no facilities within the room, these had to be fetched from reception, which rather dampened one's enthusiasm to do so. The desk was 24 x hour and well attended. The breakfast was okay. By far the big plus and the principal reason for booking the hotel was the rear, secure car-park.
Review 100:ne mérite pas être appelle un best western! Expensive for thé room size & equipment. Ugly and too hot or too cole, too noisy (on street) Only good thing was cheap parking. Works going on in the entryway. Garbage boxes in the hall on our floor!

Review 108:The rumbling of the Metro during the night!
Review 109:Location close to Metro in an area with restaurants to cater for every taste.
Review 110:Metro goes under hotel. Breakfast not worth it.
Review 111:Parking excellent and hotel clean.
Review 112:Sound isolation in room is very bad Bath should be equipped with a curtain for taking a shower without wetting the floor outside the bath
Review 113:so kitch for a BW......
Review 114:Good beds, close to metro.
Review 115:breakfast a bit expensive
