Reviews for Casa Rural Los Patos

Review 1:First I did not get any receipt/invoice for my money and had to request it to get it at least via email. On the first sight the propperty looked very good. The closer look revealed this: Our double bed bedroom was locked and not ready - after telephone enquiry he explained there was some leaking of water and despite that it was not possible to prepare it for us. We had twin bedroom instead. Cobweb in the corners and from and around the lamps/chandeliers. Dirty sticky dishes. Not very pleasing/clean blankets and bed covers which was problem if, as you know, you sleep just under sheets with blanket on top. Not hygienic at all... Mold in the bathroom cealing. The property was stonecold throughout and the bedroom we slept in was only 15°C for the first two days before it slowely warmed as we put the carpets under the door so the chilly air could not get in. When adviced to bring warm clothes I did not expect we will need it to sleep in it (sweaters and merino tshirts). So we cleaned the dishes, wash the blankets and spray desinfection on the worst mold spots. We turn on the heating, set the fire in the fireplace and turn on the dehumidifier and manage the temperature inside (after 2 days) on baerable 20°C. Despite this We (two adults and 4year old girl) spent enjoyable week and if we ever come back, we would be well prepared (desinfection and sleeping bags on hand).

Review 2:Well we choose this propperty becouse of its remote romantic "in the middle of nowhere" location. The owner advise us to pack some warm clothes as it could get cold there in December (and it did - one night it was only 3°C). So far so good. The location, the garden, the fact you are allowed to pick up the fruit from the garden, the washing mashine and of course the fire place and dehumidifier which was really neccesary are great and after some adjustements we made, we made our stay enjoyable. We do not know if they provide regural cleaning as we put do not disturb sign on the door - after we cleaned ourselves I did not want anybody in...

Review 3:Humidity and no isolation in the house.

Review 4:Coziness, spacious, well equipped kitchen and nice fire place in the living room. Immediate walking trails outside the door

Review 5:The location was excellent and the facilities were very good. perfect getaway from it all house. Great retaurant in campside 10 minute walk, Although cold at first house soon warmed up once heaters and fire were on. The road to it resembles a path so some people might wonder if on the right track, but just case of driving slowly. This should be emphasised on directions given.
