Reviews for Hotel Almud

Review 1:Rather cool welcome. Price, cold dinning room, Breakfast rather poor in comparison to other hotels in the area and not included in the price. Waterproof mattress covers very uncomfortable.

Review 2:Great location and hotel beautifully and thoughtfully decorated. Helpful walking suggestions.

Review 3:Nothing!

Review 4:Small quirky hotel with comfortable rooms and lounge. Maria the owner was very helpful assisiting us with covered parking for our Motorbike and being very welcoming, breakfast also excellent. Overall we loved the place and would recommend for a relaxed stopover in a peaceful mountain village

Review 5:Fascinating collection of vintage curios and furnishings make this a hotel of character! Definitely worth a little extra to get the room up the spiral stairs with the view. Hostess is charming and helpful - particularly about in hiking the stunning local landscape.

Review 6:Maria was very welcoming and hospitable, helping guide us to great walks. The location is lovely with stunning views over the mountains. Each room we saw was comfortable, perfectly clean, individual and beautifully quirky - no dull corporate rooms here! We will be returning for a longer stay!

Review 7:We could hear talking in other rooms; with quite thin walls had to use ear plugs.

Review 8:The decor was so homely and the staff were so friendly and welcoming despite us arriving late.

Review 9:We enjoyed our stay, no complaints !

Review 17:very friendly and helpful owner

Review 18:Great breakfast great views

Review 19:The best location, charming, authentic and the owner is the best host you can imagine.

Review 20:Warm friendly helpful hosts. Relaxed atmosphere. Stunning mountain views from full-length bedroom windows. Exquisite, quirky decor with numerous antiques, paintings - felt like a luxurious, tasteful post-medieval townhouse. Easy access to mountains. No longer has restaurant although serves drinks, snacks and sandwiches and lovely breakfasts. Set in lovely stone-built mountain village by fast-flowing river and numerous little bars, cafes and restaurants with amazing quality food, not at rip-off prices.

Review 21:The lady was a bit tricky about the parking. I had misunderstood the hotel information and thought it was necessary to book parking. Turns out there's no need to as there's plenty of public parking nearby. She was a bit difficult about making us pay the 11€ but we managed to persuade her eventually. The beds are fine, but not that comfy!

Review 22:The room was nice, with a comfy chair which was very useful - we barely left the hotel because it wouldn't stop raining!! It also had a nice downstairs living room area which is good for reading and if you want the hosts to make you a €2 coffee.

Review 23:A really beautiful hotel decorated with wonderful taste. Very friendly host and hostess. Delicious cooking. Lovely village.
