Reviews for Casa de Aldea Florentina

Review 1:A lovely friendly rustic pension, in the village but right beside beautiful countryside. A good base for exploring Picos de Europa. It was great to be able to see the mountains out the window but walk to bars and restaurants in 2 minutes

Review 2:Externally a quite location, however internally, the walls are thin and if you have a front room overlooking the mountains and people are using the lounge below, you may as well be down there with them

Review 3:Living with the locals, just outside the main part of the village about 5 min walk. The hill is not steep even with my bad foot. Breakfast is different.

Review 4:Our room was rather poorly lit and would be improved if the light shades were changed from red to opaque white and more powerful bulbs fitted.

Review 5:Arenas is a good touring centre and the old house - a Casa de Aldea - is charming, unpretentious and quiet. The owner, Florentina, is friendly, obliging and quite a good cook. Access to the balcony was a great advantage.

Review 6:Very helpful and kind nothing too much trouble

Review 7:Host helped us with what we wanted to do in the area

Review 8:Parking

Review 9:Clean

Review 10:Room and bathroom not very big but more than enough.

Review 11:The house is very nice and the owner (Florentina) was very helpful and friendly. Very well located to visit Arenas de Cabrales village and Garganta del Cares area. It is not in the center of the village, which is good to ensure a good sleep, but just 5-10 minutes walking distance from restaurants, tourism office, etc. Wifi ok in the room. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast with homemade cake. Parking facilities. I totally recommend this place.
