Review 1：Beautiful location in one of the nicest valleys of La Gomera. Clean and comfortable rooms, excellent value for money. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Finca Santa Catalina will be our first choice for our next stay in La Gomera!
Review 2：This has NOTHING to do with the apartment itself, but it just never tells us in the travel brochures, that the Canarian islands can be quite stormy end of the year. Be prepared for changing weather: I had bright warm sunshine (23C) but also storm, fog and some short rain showers on higher altitude. About the apartment nothing but my compliments.
Review 3：I had one of the spacious apartments, rustic and very good. (there were several); from my little terrace I could admire and hear the wild sea and the sunset over the Teide (lucky me with full moon) and the valley of Hermigua. This area is ideal for nature lovers and hikers and the apartment fitted perfectly for this. With tv and wifi for if needed.The owner lady Cello was very friendly, helpful and more than generous to me! Lovely contact.
Review 4：Details should say that a car is essential whilst staying in Hermigua. For a descent beach you need to travel to the south.
Review 5：La Gomera in general was spectacular. Friendliness of the hosts and the population in general was excellent. The accommodation was adequate. The effort that the islanders make to look after the roads, walls, walks were impressive. Local restaurants were good. Park visitor centre was excellent.
Review 6：The kitchen area was too small, and the gas hob meant that you had to cook with the windows shut as it was so windy. The floor was dirty, and there were no cleaning implements or products, and there was an extra charge of E20 for the cleaning. The Wi-Fi reception was intermittent, and the television signal didn't always work. The shower was hand held, as it didn't really reach the hook above. In the bathroom there was only a very small shelf, so you had to out everything on the floor, but there is a big unused space next to the shower where a shelf could be. The sleeping area had a shabby wardrobe with only a few hangers in it. The washing machine broke on the first day, and was not replaced. The outside light didn't work, so you couldn't sit outside in the evenings, but it was too windy and the bar opposite was noisy.

Review 14：We would have preferred the bed to have a duvet rather than blankets as La Gomera can get a bit chilly in the evenings. However individual extra covers were provided and we found we were fine when we used those.
Review 15：The finca is in a lovely location, with sea views and a lovely balcony. The room is cleverly set up to maximise space and you have everything you need for self catering, including a spacious fridge. The shower was good and there was always plenty of hot water. What made the trip for us were the lovely hosts, Chelo and her family, who were always happy to help us with anything we needed and were very welcoming.
Review 16：The apartment was advertised as heated but it was not and the room felt a bit damp In January. The kitchen layout is poor, I would say it was built by a lazy workman.

Review 18：Lovely location, very quiet and relaxing. Easy access to swimming andhiking. Birders can watch the falcons and songbirds from their ownbalcony. Great place for runners too--can get in your miles along thebeach and up the lush ravine. Accommodation clean, comfortable andwell-equipped.
Review 19：The landlady does not know any word in English. There is no beachavailable to swimming near the house. The shop from 15 minutes. We hadto pay extra 20 euros for cleaning. If you leave the key in the roomand go to the terrace you will not be able to open the door by the handfrom outside.

Review 21：There was no mention that we had to pay 20 euros extra for cleaning after we left. But given how reasonable the price of the accommodation was in the first place it didn't seem too bad.
Review 22：Chelo, the lady who runs the place is incredibly welcoming. We felt right and home. She runs a taxi service too, so if we needed to get somewhere on the island she was usually available to get us there. There is a fantastic restaurant right opposite. Great views of the sea. Not far from the natural pool.
Review 23：We stayed in a comfortable, spacious, well-equipped and impeccably cleanflat which had both a terrace and a patio. Good location near the seaand with supermarket and some restaurants/cafés within walkingdistance. Wonderful views, beautiful calm area! We found the nearbynatural swimming pool to be a fantastic spot for days when the sea isnot too wild. Both Playa Catalina and Agulo are reachable by moderatewalks. While it might be practical to rent a car for a vacation on LaGomera, it worked fine for us to travel by bus (stops a few minutes fromFinca Santa Catalina). Very helpful and nice landlady!

We has been "trapped" in La Gomera causewhether condition and Cielo ( the landlord) doesn't charge us forthat day. Review 26：We had a great time in Santa Catalina. It was the most relaxing holidays we ever had. Santa Catalina / Hermigua is a great place if you dont need party and shopping all the time. The hosts has been very caring and nice. After a view days we felt like a welcome part of the small neighbourhood. The room was nice and clean and had everything we needed, including a balcony with a view to the ocean. There was a bar and a good restaurant right on the other side of the street and a lot of hiking -possibilieties all around. Die Zeit in Santa Catalina war die erholsamste, die wir je hatten. Wir fühlten uns sofort willkommen und wurden von von unseren Vermietern sehr herzlich aufgenommen. Nach nur wenigen Tagen fühlten wir uns als Teil der Nachbarschaft. Die Gegend ist eher ruhig und geruhsam. Wahrscheinlich nichts für partyfreudige Shoppingliebhaber aber perfekt für Wanderer und Naturliebhaber. Es schien uns sehr authentisch und ursprünglich. Die Räume sind gut für 2 Personen geeignet und hatten von Handtüchern bis voll ausgestatteter Küche, alles was man braucht. Da wir erst Samstagnacht angkamen wurden wir am Sonntag erstmal von unseren sehr herzlichen und hilfsbereiten Vermietern in die Nachbarortschaft gefahren, damit wir uns im dortigen Sonntagssupermarkt eindecken konnten.
Review 27：It was cold. The bath was very small and stained and the support for the shower head was loose so the shower didn't spray properly. The window in the bathroom didn't close. The lighting was bad. There was only one plug for the bath, basin and sink. There was no separate bedroom - it weas like a bed sitting room.
