Review 2：If you are coming to Bonifacio don't stay anywhere else. However be prepared for a B&B experience with plenty of great restaurants in the adjacent old town or down in the harbour.

Review 3：We did not know that the suite is near the ferry, so we took the taxi to the main building (on the hills) and then returned back down to the port with the staff person.

Review 11：We stayed in the Annex. Don't be put off that. The Annex is in afantastic location just above the Marina where all the Super Yachtsdock. Our view changed every day as a result. The room was beautifullight and airy. Reception staff couldn't do enough to help us andeven allowed us an early check in with no fuss. Can't recommend thishotel highly enough.

Pool area is outstanding and makes it hard to actually leave the hotel! Rooms modern with all conveniences. What more could you want? Would definitely stay here again.

Review 17：What an enjoyable stay. Everything from the helpful staff, the lovely room and balcony, to the casual sitting area's throughout this hotel exceeded our expectations. Well positioned in old town. Could not fault.

Review 18：It is a long hike up if one does not have a car so keep that in mind. This makes it a like if you have a car, a like if you plan to stay up high during your visit, and a don't like if you do not have a car and plan to be going up and down frequently while in Bonafacio.

Review 19：This hotel is located in the old town and a perch on which to see much of the scenery which is why one comes to Bonafacio. Being off season there are very view restaurants open but the staff helped us find the two or three that were actually open and so we were not stranded without dinner. We ran into poor weather when we arrived and stayed an extra night at the same rate as our Booking.com rate.

Review 32：You could not ask for a better location built into the citadel with fine views and a short walk of the old town. Excellent secure parking and a beautiful pool and rest area. The room are comfortable with a good size bathroom and a small terrace. Breakfast is well presented and provides a good choice of hot and cold food with fresh bread and pastries. The staff are welcoming and helpful.

Review 37：There were ants in our room the first day and in the guest toilets off of the reception corridor. The pool closes at 6:30pm, which was surprising to us - this is inconvenient for people who enjoy an evening swim, but makes sense since you enter the pool directly through the hotel restaurant.

Review 38：Generally, we had a great stay at Hotel Genovese. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean with an absolutely amazing view, which we enjoyed every evening. We also enjoyed the hotel private parking, conveniently situated right next to the hotel.

Review 39：The first room they placed us in was very small, unattractive and had a terrace door that we could not secure. The price for this room was not good value for the money spent on it. Fortunately, they moved us to a gorgeous room the second night.

Review 76：The bed was very low and we had to pay attention when skirting the bed that we didn't whack our shins or stub our toes on the bed base. Also the bathroom window opened directly onto a stairway (mostly used by the housekeeping maids) so it was occasionally a little noisy and not very private - a window with a changeable hinge that gives the option of opening wide or tilting open from the top would be more practical for a bathroom. These were minor concerns however.

Review 77：Hotel Genovese is in a terrific location up on the citadel of Bonifacio just outside the historic centre of town. The views of the port and old town are wonderful and there are no parking issues because the hotel has its own secure car park. It is also extremely easy to find. The pool and common areas are all modern, stylish and inviting. This was our second stay at Hotel Genovese, the first time we had a view of the port but this time our room faced the internal courtyard which was less private. We did not have breakfast at the hotel but it did look like a good spread on offer. Our room was modern and comfortable with a generous bathroom.

Review 84：We had a nautically fitted out top floor annexe suite in the yacht harbour with a balcony overlooking the yachts. Recommended. The main hotel is in a fantastic location and adequate internally but starting to look tired and in need of updating.

Review 89：Marina suites are located more than 300m away from main building as suggested by hotel website. Pool was not heated and changing facilities near pool were non-existent (just a normal bathroom). We also had issues with our TV and coffee-maker, which did get sorted (but should've been checked prior to our arrival).
