Review 3：Basic, but clean with a bar/café on site. Staff very helpful. Good sized pool. Room next to the pool with sitting out area and fridge - great for cold drinks.

Review 5：Friendly staff. We arrived on my wife's birthday, it was a hot afternoon so we went straight to the pool to cool down. On returning to our room there was a birthday greeting and a small cake and candle on the bedside table, a nice little thought that was appreciated very much.

Review 7：Floating in the pool looking up at glimpses of the mountains and the blue sky was amazing. It was spotlessly clean inside and out. The restaurant was great, the menu del dia at lunch time was excellent value and the squid that I had was fantastic. Thank you to the friendly staff who spent time translating the menu with us! There were lots of free parking spaces around the hotel and we drove to lovely quiet beaches even in July. We stayed in a room overlooking the pool and enjoyed our stay a lot. It is a very quick walk (~5 mins) from the hotel to the shops, restaurants and beach in San Jose.

Review 14：We thought the location was great. We could easily walk to the beach, restaurants, tourist info and bike rental. The family run pension was welcoming, comfortable, quiet and the restaurant was very good. It was a great place to practise our Spanish too!
