Reviews for Hotel Stella Maris

Review 1:stayed at the stella maris a few years ago and it is now much improved , there is a different manager who runs the hotel very well and is very pleasant man there is a new chef and the food in much better , though for me a potato option other than chips would be nice although there is always a good selection of food . most of the staff were there before and are very nice , and the air con in the rooms is really very nice

Review 2:The location is a bit busier than we would have liked and this is because there are camp sites in this area and sometimes they have music playing quite loudly. Personally we would have preferred it a bit quieter, but that's our opinion. Also, it's a bit of a walk into the main part of Blanes, but it's a lovely walk along the promenade.

Review 3:Friendly staff and good location - only a few mins from the beach. Lovely walk into the main area of Blanes.

Review 4:To slow bar services. Very slow free WiFi in the bar. To expensive WiFi on the room.

Review 5:The staff are friendly and helpful (restaurant, reception) It's a very short walk from the beach. The hotel has a nice little jacuzzi and swimming pool outside.

Review 6:Vegan friendly! breakfast & dinner offered a lot of vegan options. the staff are lovely, smiling and glad to help in anything. my friend is vegan, and we weren't sure about something if it's Vegan or not. Antonio and Ivan, two of the restaurant staff, went to check with the kitchen what are the ingredients of this food. they were just commendable. we enjoyed our staying. BTW,the pool has some shadow, which is great for summer. close to the beach (8-10 minutes walking)

Review 7:We had to leave early so ordered a picnic breakfast. The sandwiches could have been better prepared, eg buttered bread, cut in half, more lavish filling but we appreciated the drinks and yoghurt.

Review 8:Polite, friendly, efficient staff, clean convenient room with a great walk-in shower, good buffet breakfast catering for multi nationalities, convenient for the beach but a swimming pool available, convenient elevator.

Review 9:Because the room was fairly small (although perfectly big enough for thestay), the air con unit was blowing cold air straight onto the beds so Iwas quite chilly in the night. (But if you don't sleep with it on,it gets too hot). There are blankets in the room, but I'd suggestbringing a jumper, too!If the weather's good you shouldn't need the TV. But if you do, bizarrely, you'll have to pay a 30 euro deposit for the remote control.

Review 10:Breakfast on Sunday mornings is particularly good as they add cava, hotchocolate and churros to the menu. It's a very short walk from the beach. The hotel has a nice little jacuzzi outside. Although, as my parents were staying in the campsite next door (La Masia) I generally used their facilities. The place was very clean and the room was a perfectly comfortable base. I was really only in it to sleep as the beach was so nearby.

Review 11:I couldn't recommend this hotel highly enough. My mother fell on her way up from the beach and the treatment she received was truly 5*. The reception staff were outstanding in their care and attention as was everyone on site.
