Review 2：Great location to experience the northern part of Picos de Europa. Very nice hotel centrally located in Arenas de Cabrales, in small village with shops and restaurants.

Review 3：The wifi signal strength was very weak in the room, so weak that it can't be used.

Review 13：Fabulous hotel in one of the most awesome (and little known) regions of ..... the world?? Great views from the hotel, amazing value, and right in the heart of the Picos. And, to cap it all, a gluten free award winning restaurant very close by (my wife is a Coeliac and it was a real unexpected treat to find a gluten free restaurant in a tiny village in the middle of the mountains).

Review 14：We were not given notice of the heavy machinery working in the river next to the hotel which started at 7.00 in the morning and finished at up to 8.00 in the evening. This has obviously being going on a long time and would prevent use of the outdoor areas in summer.

Review 15：Excellent location for exploring Picos De Europa National Park. Special mention for the bar/restaurant Santelmo which is about 50 metres away. Excellent value and great atmosphere and super staff. The hotel staff were very kind and helpful and spoke excellent English.

Review 58：Great situation for walking in the Picos. Staff really helpful and friendly and more than happy to speak English when our Spanish fell apart (equally lovely at letting us have a go). Good, fairly basic rooms with really nice lounge and outside areas.

Review 59：We liked everything about this hotel from the very friendly and helpful reception staff to the great breakfast selection. We were a group of 8 travelling on motorbikes and we looked after extremely well with safe parking for the bikes. The local restaurant recommended by the staff was terrific with a three course meal, including wine at E15.00 there were no complaints from our group! Will definitely be back to this area and will use this hotel again.

The choice was either leave the window open and be kept awake by the traffic or keep the window closed and be kept awake by the heat.

Review 69：My husband's height is 193 cms and, with his head touching the headboard, the bed was about 10 cms too short for him, so the bed was much shorter than standard. I don't know why the hotel cut corners on this aspect of comfort as everything else about the place was luxurious.

Review 70：Spacious quiet room, lovely sitting area, fridge, large bath which was great for soaking in after hiking in the mountains. Beautiful reception rooms, lots of private parking, very friendly staff. Perfect location for visiting the Picos. The breakfast was adequate.

Review 71：No safe in room. Minibar with just 1 coke, 1 beer and 2 bottles of water(but with plenty of space for your own stuff). When doing the cares walkfrom poncebos to cain you can choose for a taxi ride back to poncebos(90 euro). We thought this would take an hour but instead it took 2hours. Afterwards we found it better to walk back (3 hours).

Location is excellent, just 6km from thestart of the cares walk in Poncebos. When doing the Cares walk, it'sgetting better and better by doing it from poncebos to cain (especiallythe last 5km).

Review 73：Only very minor issues, that the rooms are a little tired with a squeaky bed and the ceiling angles in the bathroom can make the facilities difficult to use but the room had a glorious view.
